Secure your motorcycle or ATV to your truck or trailer with these tie-downs. Toothless cam buckles hold straps tight without damaging the webbing, and soft loops make it easy to attach the tie-downs to your bike. 1,200 lbs Max load.

Features

  • Tie-down straps let you secure your motorcycle, dirt bike, or ATV to your truck bed or trailer
  • Toothless, convenient, and secure (TCS) tensioning cam buckles will not damage strap webbing
  • Strap can be pulled to desired length, yet will not feed back through buckle while in locked position
    • Simply pull release tab to loosen tension
    • Locks and stays tight
  • S-hooks secure to anchor points

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 1" wide x 6' long
  • Maximum load strength (break strength): 1,200 lbs
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 400 lbs
  • Quantity: 2 tie-down straps

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Each of these motorcycle tie-downs has a toothless, convenient, and secure (TCS) cam buckle. The buckle has a non-slip spring-loaded locking action that allows for quick and easy adjustment. The toothless design will not damage the strap webbing. With the buckle in the locked position, the end strap can still be pulled through the buckle to desired length. At no time will the strap back up through the buckle. The patented design only allows the strap to go one way. To release the lock, you simply have to pull the release tab and the load will quickly let loose. Whenever you have a situation where you have 2 solid points that won't move, the TCS buckle with over-the-center lock action works great. It locks tight and stays tight.

Cargo bar works well. I either use it behind cab or in front of tailgate. Keeps items in place . I also have milk crates to use as cargo bins and the bar keeps that in place as well with tie downs from moving side to side.

Great products.

I want to like these but they fail to work. The cleat action is great yet they fail to hold. After I got the first pair they seemed a great product so I ordered a second pair and have since used them several times. Each time transporting a sport bike on a open trailer in a chock. Each time they worked loose in about 10 miles. I checked and rechecked mounting and closing. Still they fail to hold. This was in dry weather on smooth roads. I have had to stop multiple times on 40 mile trips to re-secure them. This seems to be all 4 of them and not just 1 out of the 4 failing. A bike carried along at the same using another brand strap remained solid. So simply, they fail. They are dangerous to use for securing as they cannot be trusted to hold. What can I do with them now? I am not sure I would even use them to secure a load/luggage on my touring bike Most likely I will throw them away as I can't trust them. It is a great design but the manufacturer needs to revisit the engineering and materials used to evolve the product or take them off the market.

by:

Not what I expected, but very secure and have a great loop on top end. They aren’t the regular cam lock pull to tighten straps, but the locking mechanism makes these very secure with no chance of slipping. Great straps!!

Not good. They slip and allow bike to be loose. Dumb luck that a bike didn’t fall over.

by:

Easy to use, secured my son's dirt bike well

by:

The straps looked good at first but they did not hold the motorcycle at all. Had to use my older ratchet style. Almost lost bike off rack. Checked and re checked the tie down but the continually came loose. Thank goodness I had the ratchet straps.
In short they slip as you drive down the road.

by:

These are nice straps. I like the design of the soft loop. But the cam mechanism allows too much slippage, so they become loose when am driving on rough roads. My motorcycle weighs about 350 pounds, and I transport it on a trailer. Maybe the cam mechanism is strong enough for transporting a motorcycle in a pickup bed, but I am not able to use the straps with my motorcycle on the trailer.

by:

Like much better than the ratchet straps, easy install very stable and quick release

by:

I have used a number of straps around the house and on my trailers but none have been as easy to use while holding as tightly as these. If you want to hold something tighter than a pull strap but almost as good as a ratchet strap then these are the ones to get. I will order more. Service from etrailer is the best.

by:

Honestly I am surprised to see good reviews for these. I was VERY excited to order them thinking they would be a good mix of pull-down and ratchet straps. Soon after I got them I had to pick up a dirt bike. I compressed the front springs some, pulled the strap tight and then locked the buckle. Seemed to hold very nicely ... until I was less than a mile away and the bike was almost falling over!!! After stopping 3 different times to retighten the straps, I finally gave up and put my trusty ratchets back on and had no further problems. Manufacturer states that it is IMPOSSIBLE for the strap to loosen ... that is obviously not the case. I bought 3 sets and have yet to even open the other 2 sets due to this experience. The quality seems nice, but the function is just not there. They may work OK for none dynamic loads, but they sure did not do the job against my stiff bouncing motorcycle suspension. I think the problem is that the rods in the buckle have no texture to grip the strap like pull downs usually do. Add some texture to help grab the strap and I think these could be really great.

by:

Ordered 3 products on a Wednesday and received them the following Tuesday which was great. All products, the 5' E track, tie-off rings and tie down straps were just what I needed. I was glad that the straps were rated a 1200 lbs rather than 400 lbs. Just bought a 6 X 12 enclosed trailer recently and will definitely be using Etrailer.com a lot more.

by:

I gave one of their representatives the tire size and told them that I have duel rotors on the front wheel of my motorcycle and want would be the best fit for a wheel chock. They gave me Item MT70271 and EMO5729. I had them express deliver so that I would have time to mount it on my trailer. It was a great, the easiest to assemble and mount and had plenty of clearance for the tire and rotors. It was simple who ever designed this item had a lot of thought put into it to work so well. Great help and product . Thank You again.
Louie

by:

Much like other recent reviews, I have had trouble with these straps. They come loose and I had to check and tighten them multiple times during transport. Now I have no confidence using them with my bike. I still use them for strapping down light gear on my trailer, but never with my motorcycle.

by:

When I got the package I didn't quite know how to use the tie downs but after some experimentation found they work great. Thanks for a quality product.

by:

WowsersJust used these for the first time. Soooo much easier than regular tie downs with bar savers. I wish I had these ten years ago

by:

Great, really like the soft tie built in for hauling dirtbikes.

by:

Haven't used but looks good and ideal for carrying my motorcycle

  • Towing Recommendations with a Toyota Prius
When I researched the weight of your Vespa LX50 it exceeds the Class 1 hitch tongue weight that would be compatible with a cargo carrier. An alternative would be to tow your Vespa behind your vehicle using a utility trailer. Although Toyota doesn't recommend towing with your vehicle, if you choose to do it anyway here is an option I can offer you since the recommended towing weight on the hitch is higher. I would recommend the Draw-Tite brand hitch # 24847 and drawbar # 3593. We offer...

  • Cargo Carrier and Hitch Recommendation for a 2015 Ford Escape
Sounds like a hitch mounted cargo carrier with a ramp would be what you would need. This way you would be able to just roll the wheel chair up the ramp and it wouldn't require any heavy lifting. First you would need a hitch on your 2015 Ford Escape. For that you would want the part # 75758. Now for a cargo carrier with a ramp I would recommend the part # PS10401-10402. Only problem with this is that because it has a ramp it's pretty heavy (101 lbs), so you might be better off with a carrier...

  • Compatibility of Flat Towing Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with Motorcycle Carrier for Scooter on Back
Putting a 200 lb scooter on the back of your Trailhawk is definitely not an issue when driving the vehicle, but needs to be considered in the towing weight of the vehicle when flat towing on all the components. Having a bike rack on your vehicle can cause some additional sway when towing, and having a motorized scooter could also cause some sway so you need to be aware of that possibility. Just make sure your trailer hitch receiver has a tongue weight rated for the combination of the...

I was able to look up your 2009 Yamaha Zuma 125 and found that the overall width was 30.1 inches, assuming this is the handle bar spread, the etrailer # e98873 will give you the clearance necessary to be compatible with your Sienna.
