You can always count on Etrailer for good products and even better service.

by:

The inner bearing race was not seated in the hub. I did not notice it until the spindle nut would not turn passed the cotter pin hole. I had to take apart and finish pressing in the bearing race. For some reason I am not able to upload a picture.

  • Replacement Rotors and Brake Pads For EZ Loader Boat Trailer With Kodiak 3,500LB Disc Brakes
Since you have a Kodiak Disc brake caliper on your EZ Loader boat trailer you will want to replace it with the Kodiak Integrated Rotor # KHR10D. This rotor is 10" in diameter while the Dexter # K08-435-05 you found is only 9-3/4" in diameter. The difference in diameter would lead to wear issues on the pads. It is best to install new Pads # K225CPSS when you change your rotors so the pads can bed in properly on the new rotor.

  • Recommended Disc Brake Kit to Convert From Electric Brakes on 1984 Fleetwood Terry Travel Trailer
In order to make sure you get the right brake kit I would not make any assumptions. It would be best to go ahead and pull the hub and take measurements just to be safe. See the helpful diagram below if you aren't sure where to measure. I recommend using a digital caliper like the # PTW80157 to take your measurements. It is possible that you could find part numbers on there but I'm guessing they have worn off. Once you have you have your measurements you will be able to find the correct...

  • Are There Pre-Greased Versions Of The Dexter 008-435-05 Hub/Rotor
Hi Wendell, We do offer compatible replacement hub/rotors for your Dexter 008-435-05 but they unfortunately do not come pre-greased. I recommend picking up the # K08-435-05 as well as bearings # L68149 and # L44649, and grease seal # RG06-050 to pre-pack the hub yourself with some lube # L11380 before the trip. To prevent the bearings from falling out or any dirt/debris from getting inside the hub you can put two layers of plastic wrap over the holes and rubber band them down.

  • Is There a Replacement Hub For A 1980 Apache Pop-Up Camper With Fayette Hubs
I will have another option available, but with the widths you got, you have an inner bearing # L44643 and an outer bearing # LM11949. The length of your spindle is also going to mean you have one that is shorter than standard and we will not have a replacement available. With that being said, I recommend replacing the axle with something that uses a more common length and bearing combination. Though it will require measuring from the center of one spring seat to the center of the other...

  • Availability Of 10 Rotor That Uses L68149 And L44649 Bearings
We do carry a few 10" hub and rotors that use the L68149 inner and L44649 outer bearings. A good one is the Kodiak # KHR10D. This is a dacromet plated rotor that used the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. Bearings and seals are sold separately so you will want the bearing kits # BK2-100 as well. Keep in mind that rotors are not universal, and we would need to know what brand brake kit you have currently in order to recommend the compatible replacement.

  • Replacement Disc Brake Rotor/Hub For a 1990 Ranger Trail Boat Trailer
The Dexter 10" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly # K08-435-05 is designed to fit a 3,500LB trailer axle with the Inner Bearing # L68149, Outer Bearing # L44649 and Grease Seal # RG06-050. To confirm if this is what matches the axle on your 1990 Ranger Trail Boat Trailer, you will need to inspect your current hub for the bearing and seal information. If you are unable to find the information stamped on the bearings and seals you can measure your spindle with a Digital Caliper # PTW80157. Once you have...

In order to find if the Dexter 10" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly # K08-435-05 will fit your 2000 620 Ranger boat trailer you will need some additional information. This assembly is designed to fit a 3,500 lb axle with the standard # L68149 inner and # L44649 outer bearings. I recommend checking your axle tag/bearings to see if this will fit. The axle tag should have the capacity. It is also likely this has a serial number which could be used to identify the axle and the bearings it uses. If you...

  • Replacement Brake Hub/Rotors UFP 9.75 rotors with 10 demaxx ?
We don't carry Demaxx products, so I couldn't say if they'd be compatible replacements. We do carry some 10 inch hub/rotors from Dexter and Kodak, both of which are for a 3500 lb axle and use an L44649 outer/L68149 inner bearing. The Dexter # K08-435-05 measures 9.75 inches in diameter, so if the bearings your existing rotor uses are compatible with the L44649/L68149 they'll work for you.

The EZ loader oil bath hub assembly 300-029534 is a complete 5-on-4-1/2 idler hub kit that includes races, bearings, seal, washers, nut, retainer nut and cotter pin, bearing protector and lug nuts. After doing some research it seems that your 2008 Shoreland'r boat trailer has a 3,500 pound weight capacity so The Dexter 10 inch Hub-and-Rotor Assembly # K08-435-05 would work for you. Your axle should have an axle sticker or plate on the axle that will inform of you the weight capacity. You have the 3,700 lb axle, but it has the standard 3,500 lb spindle size based on the bearing numbers they gave me for your axle. I recommend the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K if you are just looking for the hub for a rotor to fit over, or # K08-435-05 if you are seeking an integrated rotor. • Can Larger 3,500 lb Brake Rotor Be Used As Replacement On Trailer
Although both of those fall under a 10" hub and rotor assembly, it sounds like you do not have DeeMaxx on there right now. In general the disc brake parts cannot be interchanged. The # DE49VR you got has a 10-3/16" diameter, Kodiak # KHR10D sits at 10", and then there is Dexter # K08-435-05 which matches your 9-3/4" measurement. Seems like you have Dexter on there right now so you would want to stick with Dexter replacement parts assuming that is correct. The other option would be to swap...
