Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the pro grip cam buckle straps. These cam buckle straps are going to be six feet in length and have a combined snap hook on one end and an S hook on the other. The straps are going to be an inch and a quarter in diameter, and they're going to have a bright red woven polyester design. That's going to give you a 400 pound safe workload limit, and a 1200 pound break strength. The S hook is going to have a nice large opening, so it's going to be able to hook onto a large part of our cargo carrier like we have here, or under the D-rings on your truck or trailer. It's also going to have a nice rubber coating so it's not going to scratch or damage anything that you hook it onto.On the other side, you are going to have a snap hook.
It's going to make it easier to be able to connect it to your strap. Now in my personal opinion, this is not my favorite design. I like the S hook design, but if this works better in your application, this is what you should go with. Up top, you'll see our cam buckles. They're going to have a nice large grip to them so that they will hold onto your strap so that your load doesn't come loose while you're traveling.
With this kit, you're going to get two straps. Now that we've gone over some of those features, let's go ahead and show you how we got them in place. Now, with our cooler here, we're just going to hook our S hook straight to our cargo carrier because it fits pretty nice. If you have too much strap or you find that you can't get it tightened down tight enough, they do provide a little loop for you to cut about six inches out of this loop. So you'll loop it back, hook it to yourself, and then your cargo carrier will be hooked in here. We can go ahead and hook it onto our cargo carrier, loop it over top of our cooler, and then once our snap hook, we're going to go underneath our cargo carrier arm and hook it into place.
Now the nicest part about cam buckle straps is that all we have to do is just pull out the Slack. As long as you put enough tension on it, it's going to hold it there for your whole trip. Now, of course, with your excess, you want to tie it off so it's not flopping around in the wind.Well, guys, now that we have our load all strapped down, we're ready to hit the road. With all that being said, that's going to do it for our look and installation of the pro grip cam buckle straps..

There was way too much extraneous plastic in the packaging that I will have to try and avoid purchasing again. Please inform the supplier to green-up. Otherwise fine.
