Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

This ratchet is overkill for the small boat we trailer, but I wouldn't want to do without it. It is very solidly built and works well. The only quibble I have is that if you pull the strap out all the way (such that the two sides are separate), reattaching it is not intuitive. But a quick look at the site video remedies that. A fine product.
Better Than Expected . These will Hold The Load Down On The Trailer With No Worry . I have been fighting chains and binders for years and still will on occasion but these will be my back up . I have two pair now .

Great No problems .
These straps are just what I wanted. I’m very pleased.
These are my favorite ratchet straps. This is my second purchase. Four will tie down just about anything in a truck bed or car hauler. Good smooth mechanisms. Easier to open after than one-inch straps.
Use to hold down my 2300lb AC COBRA once in the enclosed hauling trailer... works, well, easy to use and I custom cut them to length... for this specific use. etrailer is the best! Quick, pleasant and knowledgeable...I am fortunate as they are about 3 miles from me... very pleased step up and grab yourself a set!
Heavy Duty straps.
The Erickson tie-down straps were delivered very quickly to my front door via UPS. The straps themselves are quite stout looking in appearance. Coupled with the oversized ratchets, I expect the straps to be every bit as strong as advertised. The ratchets are well constructed, and the release mechanisms work very well (maybe I won't draw blood using them).

These tie down straps are have proved excellent when needing to strap down and haul my tractor into the dealer for service I'm unable to handle. This is the second pair I have purchased and I've been very pleased with them!!..
Straps working perfectly. No break down in the material. Hardware functions properly and positive ratcheting function all the time. Hooks anchor well and stay hooked with no breakage.
Well made straps that I use to secure sports cars in an enclised trailer. I trust them 100%
I really like the design of the hooks on these straps. The only negative that I have is that they are only 10 feet. Erickson has some that are 15 feet but you can not find them.
Works great with my side x side and my Spyder, straps over tires with no suspension compression.
Excellent straps for UTV tie downs. They work much better and are stronger than the usual 1 inch straps. The ratchet mechanisms are great.

These cables are very high quality and heavy duty. The ratchet mechanism is solid and well made, the hooks are rubber coated and wont scratch your attach points. These were a little more pricey but I'd rather pay a little more and know I have straps that will last forever.
Very heavy-duty material used in the construction of these straps. The rubber finger holds on the ratchets make them very easy to release.
Already had two that I have been using, needed two more so all four wheels would be tied down. Smooth working ratchet and the books will not mark up my trailer, good product.

These are the perfect size straps for our work trucks. Just the right length for tying down oversize loads in the bed of a pick up truck.

Nice medium sized straps for lighter loads. Still wide enough to go over cargo without cutting. The length is nice too for loads in a pickup bed.

Still very good after a year. The straps are pretty much indestructible.
