Made a nice little trailer to haul wife’s golf cart!

by:

Good kit with the necessary parts to replace leaf spring suspension. I welded the hangers rather than bolting them. The parts are not coated for the price point so you will need to paint them or they will rust immediately.

by:

A good source for trailer parts. For finding parts, you need to know the specs of the trailer, not necessarily the manufacturer. Thanks etrailer!

by:

I inherited an aluminum trailer that ended up needing a complete overhaul and etrailer was the best resource I could have found. After researching extensively to find out what I needed and watching their videos on how to do it I ended up ordering an EZ-lube axle, galvanized hubs, springs and a hanger kit (in other words everything from the frame down).
Everything shipped quickly and arrived in great shape. All the parts worked perfectly and I couldn't be happier!

by:

Everything was just as I ordered it and it fits like a glove

by:

All businesses should be like etrailer! The gal was so kind and knowledgeable to help my husband get the right leaf spring replacements. We ordered a tire last spring and the same, excellent service and prompt delivery. Thanks so much

by:

Received my parts today and after examining everything all looks good.
The quality of parts looks excellent and can't wait to start installing them.
Shipping was fast and arrived as they said.
Great company to buy with.
Will was very helpful and very knowledgeable about parts.
If you call would definitely ask for Will.

by:

Great product. Exactly what we needed

by:

Springs & hanger kit worked well.

by:

Product arrived just as described and very quickly. This kit was a great way to drop the springs on our trailer enough for the axle to be put on correctly.

by:

Great service, great value

by:

Quick shipping.......reasonable prices

by:

The axle hanger kit arrived today. I have done a dry setup; everything fits as expected.

Very good product, and Im very satisfied thank you

by:

my order arrived well packaged.
the parts
are every bit as good as OEM and went together nicely.

by:

Worked great on my 5x10 utility trailer

by:

I had to email customer service as I bracket was folded incorrectly so that the bolt holes did not line up. Upon recieveing my email, a replacement was on the way! EXCELLENT customer service. Thank you etrailer.

by:

The hangers look good and I believe they will do a great job. I need to move my axle back on my trailer so it will be able to haul some weight. It is a dump style body and can't handle weight, only on the front of the trailer. So I am going to move the axle back about 6 to 8 inches. The tracking info on the kit was great... ALL gratitude goes to your company...

It works great. Thanks for making a wonderful product. I give you 5 stars.

by:

I order parts from e-trailer fairly often it's always very fast shipping they always have what I'm looking for probably the best website to buy trailer parts online will continue to shop with them

by:

The fit and finish were very good. Unfortunately, for me I had to order additional hanger brackets for the springs that were suggested for me as the kit only came with two compatible brackets. It has delayed my project for a few days until I get the new brackets.

  • Replacing Hangers And Leaf Springs On Vintage Camper
I have an option for you, but we do not have a leaf spring that is 35" from center of spring eye to center of spring eye as that is pretty long for a double eye spring. Instead I recommend replacing the hangers on the trailer with the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs - 3-1/4" Front, 1-1/4" Rear # APS4. For the leaf spring you can use the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/4" Long # e57SR or 5000lb spring # e28SR to match the rating of your...

  • How To Lower A Trailer With Leaf Springs
When it comes to lowering your trailer 2-2.5 inches if your have leaf springs and they're positioned above the axle tube, you can flip them with the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00 if you have a 3 inch diameter axle or # K71-384-00 if you have a 2-3/8 inch diameter axle. If the leaf springs are already below the axle tube then you can go with a slightly smaller wheel/tire combo, or you can install shorter leaf spring hangers. If you can tell me what your...

  • Switching From Slipper Springs to Double-Eye Springs on 4 x 6 Trailer
To replace your slipper springs with double-eye leaf springs you first want to take a quick measurement of the existing leaf spring stack. Measure from the center of the eye to the end of the spring to make sure the new double-eye assembly has a similar length. Also be sure that the new springs have the capacity needed to support the loaded weight of your trailer. The 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e84SR that you were looking at measures 20-3/8 inches from eye to eye, 1-3/4 inches wide, and...

  • Replacement Double Eye Leaf Springs For a Boat Trailer With 24-1/4" Long Leaf Springs
The 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e59SR is the closest spring we have to the measurements you gave. First of all our double eye leaf springs are all 1-3/4" wide and these particular springs are 23-1/8" from eye to eye on center. Since springs will get longer as they flatten if you measured with weight on the springs there is a chance these could fit your trailer since completely flat they would 24-7/8" from eye center to eye center. Finally these springs are 1,750lbs per spring so it will...

The hangers used for slipper springs and leaf springs are different enough that you'll either need to stick with slipper springs or you'll need to cut off your current hangers and weld on new ones that are designed for double eye springs. If you decide to change everything out to double eye springs then I recommend using the following parts: - Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit # APS4 - 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles # e84SR This will give you everything you need to...

  • Best Options to Lift a Single Axle Trailer
There are a few different ways to lift a trailer, installing taller leaf springs hangers is one of them. The Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs part # APS4 is a great option and may or may lift the trailer the amount you're looking for. It all comes down to the height of the leaf spring hangers you'll be replacing. That said, this is not always a direct 1:1 ratio so a better option would be the Lippert Components Standard Axle Lift Kit part # LC425750 which provides a...

You will need the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit # APS4 with 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles # e84SR and U-bolt kit # CE23000 to secure the axles to the leaf springs. You cannot use the 30 inch leaf springs as they won't be long enough; you were correct about where the leaf spring holes needed to be. You have a pretty interesting leaf springs setup on your trailer. It appears as if it is an automobile spring setup based on the length of the springs. That is a pretty small trailer, are you sure you want to go with such heavily rates springs? Going with higher rated springs will only give you additional spring capacity.
