Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at trailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the tandem axle trailer hanger kit for double-eye springs. Now, this hanger kit will allow you to attach four leaf springs to your trailer frame. Now, the leaf springs we do sell separately on our website. This kit will basically include everything laid out here on the table.
It includes all the hangers you need, the equalizers, the shackle straps, the shackle bolts, and the shackle nuts all included. Now, this is designed for use on trailers that have tandem 2,000-pound to 7,000-pound axles. And it does not include the components for mounting the axle to the springs. Now, we're gonna go through all these just to show you the size of 'em. We'll start with, let me just zoom in a little bit here and we're gonna measure 'em.
We'll start with the front and rear hangers, that'll be the smaller. There's four of those. And basically, these are 2 1/2 inches tall, and when you measure the hanger, a hanger is always measured from the top to the center of this bolt hole down here. So if we put a ruler on it from the center to the very top, it's gonna be right at 2 1/2 inches tall. And again, that's for the two front and the two rear hangers.
Now, the two taller ones, those are the center hangers that the equalizers will connect to. Those, the same way you measure from the center of this hole to the top. So if we put a ruler on it, you're gonna be right at 4 1/4 inches tall for the two center hangers. Now, the equalizers, there's two of those right here. These are curved equalizers.
And again, the length of 'em will be measured center of this hole to the center of this hole. So if we put a ruler on it, there's your 7 3/4 inches length for the curved equalizers. The shackle straps, there's eight of those. Those again, center to center on the bolt holes. So if we measure it, it's right at 2 5/8 inches long on the shackle straps. The shackle bolt comes with 14 of those. Those are gonna be three inches long and they're measured from the bottom of the head to the end of the bolt. So there's your three-inch measurement. The diameter on these bolts are 9/16 of an inch, and then it comes with the 14 9/16-size diameter lock nuts. But that should do it for the review on the tandem axle trailer hanger kit for the double-eye springs..

Components for mounting axle to springs sold separately.Order received was missing significant pieces as per my notification to customer service. Looks like all parts, nuts bolts flanges were all packed loose in the box, UPS destroyed the package and reboxed, resulting in missing items. Attached picture is what I received.
Parts r good quality fit good would order from trailer again
The kit did not come with the shackle straps in the description and was short one nut.

Glad I chose etrailer for my purchase will definitely buy from them again, I had a old boat trailer that was given to me from a friend will convert the boat trailer into a BBQ concession trailer later with heavier axles and springs now using the axles and springs from that trailer to the new one for my UDS smokers, I have 5 of them to mount to the new one making them dedicated to that trailer.
This kit made it easy to redo the spring location on a used trailer I bought. Also good quality kit
Great tandem axle kit.
Everything was what I expected. They look heavier built than the others I looked at. Everything was packaged well and shipped fast.
Great fit for my build , I shifted the axles back on my utility trailer and these hangers worked out fine with my original leaf springs.
Received what I ordered and matched up as expected. I don’t think anything more needs to be said.
I ordered the parts on a Sunday and they were on my doorstep Tuesday afternoon, I got exactly what I ordered and I am pleased with the product.
I ordered this on a sunday and needed it before the next weekend so I paid for expedited shipping. By Wednesday it had still not shipped so I called the customer service line. After waiting on hold for almost 30 min. I was told it would ship out that day and I would have it by Friday or Saturday at the latest with the expedited shipping. I didn't receive the package until the following Tuesday. The parts themselves are what I expected but the customer service sucks. If you are needing something soon just buy it local, don't waste your money trying to get it quicker by paying for faster shipping from etrailer.

I would love to help make sure that this is the kit for you. Are you replacing worn out suspension parts or building a new trailer? If you are replacing the parts you would want to measure the existing ones to match them.

They work but the hanger brackets were thinner than my existing ones on my trailer so these are inferior to the OE I had to replace when I added an axle

All working good. No problems.
Purchased a trailer that looked real good, after a couple months when I was getting ready to install brakes and paint the frame, I noticed the suspension really needed rebuilt. Ordered hangers, equalizers, and new leaf springs. Everything came fairly quickly, unfortunately in transit 2 of the 4 leaf springs got lost, but were immediately shipped/replaced by the company. Great customer service, great help with anything you may have questions with. Appears to be great quality material so far. I will maintain to use etrailer for any of my trailer needs.
light weight junk !! says my boat trailer Mechanic.
i ended up throwing the parts away and buying heavy duty parts so that my 62 year old self ain't strainded on the interstate with a busted trailer again on a Sunday where nobody is open for you to get any service to a boat trailer. a real bummer.

This kit is designed for use on trailers with tandem, 2000lb to 7000lb axles. I understand if you would like something that holds a higher capacity.

I bought this kit to replace the equalizers and shackles on my tandem axle trailer. Buying the kit from etrailer was cheaper than buying the parts locally including shipping.
I am very pleased with the Loaded backing plates, drums, bearings and tandem axle hanger kit. All appear to be better quality than what came on the trailer originally
ordered springs,hanger kit and other parts! shipping was free but opted to get 3 day instead! parts arrived following a email they were shipped the next day!
