A trailer jack lifts your trailer high enough at the tongue to allow you to couple it with your vehicle. Usually, your tongue weight is about 10-15% of your gross trailer weight (GTW). For example, a 10,000-lb trailer has a tongue weight of 1,000 lbs to 1,500 lbs. To raise the tongue of a trailer this size, you'd need a jack that can handle a static load of no less than 1,500 lbs. And, yes, it's okay to have a jack with a weight rating that is higher than your trailer's tongue weight. In fact, a jack with a higher capacity should operate more efficiently, allowing you to spend less time cranking and more time fishing.

Works great for my trailer.
Received great customer service from Natalie who took my order. We discussed several options on repairing an old one, or just purchasing new. My old Jack was in pretty poor shape and by the time we got Parts pot enough to be able to repair it effectively, I would have spent almost as much to buy a new and 500 pound more capable Jack. She ask the correct questions about the length of the tube and how high the trailer needed to lift and what the weight ratings needed to be. Completely certain that I've got the right jack for the job. I am enclosing a picture with full approval of my two loyal Companions and completely aggravating dogs.
This item is just what I needed for my toy hauler. A very sturdy trailer jack and it has a wheel! I would buy this again
I am very satisfied with the quality of this jack stand, it is heavy duty and the large wheel makes it easier moving the boat around. The installation was very easy, a 9/16 deep socket and wrench and a 9/16 open end got the job done fast. I do recommend this product for any boater that is looking for a quality stand at a fair price.

I am still very pleased with the jack stand.
A decent jack. I have a small square drop camper which came with the 1,200 lbs version of this jack. Even with the jack all the way retracted there were times there wasn't enough room to swivel the jack into place because of the wheel and the site not being level. I was on the search for a bolt on replacement without a wheel. I could not find one. I ended up buying this jack due to the size of the drop tube (2"). I cut the wheel off, drilled a hole, and added the Pro Series Detachable Footplate w/ Pin for 2" Diameter Jacks. The problem of not being able to swivel the jack in place for those sites/places where the tongue is close to the ground is solved. For my application, minus one star for the non-detachable wheel.
Product seems to be well made. The crank is smooth and so much easier than my old one that I was replacing. Even though I measured my old jack and this was suppose to be the same size, when it was mounted and trailer was lowered on my hitch it did not go low enough to swivel the jack arm to horizontal position. I rotated my receiver hitch ball mount which gave me enough height to swivel to horizontal position. Will just have to see how boat rides with the ball mount 2" higher. If the boat fails to ride good, I will look at finding a replacement wheel that is 4: instead of 6 inches

Product is as described and is well constructed. Installation was less than 15 min. Delivery was fast and on time. I had to contact the help-desk to have a tracking notification sent to my email due to an error on my part. I contacted them through email about 15 min before closing and received a confirmation and updated tracking information correcting the error along with a follow up to see if I was satisfied. This was my first time using etrailer and I will becoming back for any future needs.

Overall still satisfied with the product. Have had no issues to speak of and still operates as expected. I do use my trailer up through the middle of Dec so just a little salt issues, nothing major or alarming but it would be nice if there was a little better corrosion protection. Common challenge when running late season in MN and Ive yet to find a jack that doesnt show similar signs. I would still buy the product again.
Works like a champ
Used this jack to replace the jack on my aluminum trailer that was stolen. It fit my 3"x3" aluminum square tongue perfectly. The wheel is a lot bigger than I expected but should work will in gravel.
Replaced my worn jack on my Ranger boat and it has held up very well. Quality product.

Been using for a year now and it is still functioning well
The trailer jack was perfect! The bolt hole pattern was critical and it was exactly as advertised. Installed in 15 minutes with absolutely no alterations. The information provided on products sold at etrailer.com is the biggest reason I will keep coming back (not to mention quick delivery and great prices). The jack easily lifted my boat and trailer into position for hitching up. Hope the fish are biting!
Very happy with this trailer jack. Quality is decent even though it’s made in China. The oversized wheel allows me to push my 2000 lb trailer around effortlessly on packed gravel driveway.
Great price offered by etrailer and fast shipping. The jack fit the trailer properly and works good. My only criticism would be there is a small amount of play in the rotating bracket which concerns me in regard to the longevity of the product. I suppose time will tell.
While I have not had a chance to go through the packages that arrived yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised that they did arrive way ahead of schedule. I also can not thank Katrina B. enough on her help with correcting my mistake with an online order. She was pleasant the whole time, and has followed up with me to make sure that everything is good. Great Product, we use the swivel jacks on our trailer builds and they hold up well. the Fulton Swing Jack is less sturdy in comparison.

One year out and the jack is still performing like it should. My boat was somewhat of a Trailer Queen while trying to get the old outboard running so I used the jack a LOT. Always did the task without ever giving it a second thought. Thanks again for all your help.
