Hello everybody this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we take a look at this replacement mounting kit for the E-trailer and the RAM, 1,200 pound and 1,500 pound Swivel Marine Jacks. Now, this four-bolt swivel plate right here, this is a kit for Trailer Jacks, and that attaches to the mounting bracket that's on your Jack, and allows you to mount to your E-trailer or RAM, 1,200 pounds or 1,500 pounds, Marine swivel Jack to your trailer frame. Now the 1200 pound and the 1500 pound models include this four-bolt pin-through design on the mounting plate for superior side load support. This part here is what will get mounted to your bracket and on your jack and then once that's onto your jack, then you'll take your Jack into the hole mounting plate and drop it right to this plate here. This plate is what you'll mount to the trailer frame to the mounting bracket on your trailer frame.
Once you get that on you just go ahead and put your Nylock nuts on there and tighten them down. Now this part does not include the mounting hardware that is used for attaching this part to the trailer's frame. That part we, those mounting hardware we do sell separately for that part number MGA-1000B-MBB, and it is listed on this product page as a related product. And as we mentioned, this part is designed for use with the part number MJ-1200B and the MJ-1500B series jacks. Both of those jacks, we do sell separately on our website.
Last thing I want to do is just give you some measurements on the mounting holes for this. The mounting holes are these four holes, right on each side there, from center to center with rise from the center of this one to the center of that one, I pulled a route on that. There'll be spread at five and a half inches. And the height from the very bottom hole, to the very top hole, center to center, is right at 4 and 7, 16, 7 inch. Excellent and heavy duty.
Product bolts onto the trailer tongue, also comes with a new retaining ring in the bag. This bracket ONLY is intended to replace a weld-on mounting bracket. I already had another jack with a weld on bracket. You do have to have a retaining ring tool to make the exchange between brackets. Also a separate parts bag is required with 4 bolts and nuts with included 2 retaining bolt brackets which I already had.
A great product overall for do-it-yourself people.
I actually used this as a backing plate for a jack to replace a couple of worn out and weak rail-type mounts. It's super sturdy and strong.
This item fixed my issue and has preformed perfectly.
