etrailer.com has been an easy company to work with. They were helpful in making sure we had what we needed to install our trailer hitch successfully. Thank you for your help. We have recommended you to friends and family and will continue to do business with you in the future.

Great

by:

Fast shipping and good quality parts for a fair price. Thank you.

by:

This circuit breaker for electric trailer brakes is working fine after a year's use. No complaints. Good reputable company to deal with.

by:

connectors and breakers to hook up my brake controller arrived in order, installed easily, and lasted 1 year so far...

by:

Worked out perfectly.

by:

Got two of these for rewiring my truck and trailer. These were the best priced I found-even cheaper than the non-auto versions available locally. The shipping was reasonable and delivery time was good.

I was very satisfied and will return for additional items as needed.

by:

I purchased the 20 amp CB to go with the Prodigy RF brake controller. This is due to their warning and caution in the installation manual.

by:

The product is exactly what I expected, I haven't installed it yet.

I will testify that this site is the real deal. Not only did they have the best price for what I wanted but it was delivered to my door at a lower cost than I could have purchased it for locally and it arrived in a timely fashion. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this site again if the price is competative for what I'm looking for. I don't live close to any stores so it's most convienent to have it delivered rather than taking the time or expense to go get it. Their service and technical advice is excellant, that's an added bonus.

by:

I got exactly what I ordered. Just make sure, if you order the fuse box to get the fuses without brackets. A rotary grinder made quick work of the brackets and they fit perfect in the fuse box

by:

Another easy install and wiring would buy again for additional projects.

by:

Easy to install inline for the brake controller.

by:

I Haven't installed yet but the customer service with etrailer is great, they continued to help when I made an error on my order

by:

Simple, reliable, does what it should. A good value.

by:

The PK54520 circuit breaker appears to be a quality product and was simple to install. I hope I never need it to function.

The same product was 3x the price at the local trailer supply establishment.

Thanks
Rick

by:

Just what I needed. Thanks, John

by:

Does the job for good price just convenient to have all parts arrive before install and not chase for parts.

by:

product arrived in timely manner and as expected. Haven't used them yet, so no input on performance.

by:

I've used 2 of them and they work remarkably well. Good quality and quick delivery.

by:

In service 1 year. No issues.

by:

Parts was as it should be, worked fine when installed, fast delivery,

by:

Haven't installed it yet, looks good

by:

Quality built product, does exactly what it needs to.

by:

Works as expected.

by:

Great price

  • Does a 7-Way Trailer Connector on a 2007 Volvo XC90 Have to be Fully Functional for a Prodigy RF
For the Prodigy RF # TK94FR two work the only functions that need to be active are the lighting circuits and the 12 volt circuit. The 12 volt circuit actually powers the RF so it must be installed. To make it active you will run the 12 volt circuit wire from the back of your new 7-Way connector, under the vehicle using about 20 feet of # 10-1-1 wire, and into the engine compartment near the battery *unless the vehicle battery is located elsewhere then you would run it to that location instead). The Adapter # 3034-P that you referenced is the correct adapter to connect the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 to your RV on a 2017 Ford E-450 Chassis. The part of your description that sounds like it is the problem is where you say the Black wire grounds into the Blue wire - this should not be the case and is most likely your issue. The Black, White, Blue, and Red wires from the Voyager should be connected to the following functions: Black - Battery for Power (20 Amp Circuit Breaker # PK54520...

  • Installing a Tekonsha P2 Electric Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 on a 2004 Hummer H1
To install the Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller # 90885, in your 2004 Hummer H1, you will need to do a little hardwiring, but since you already have a functioning 7-Way trailer connector, there will not be too much work involved to get it installed and ready to tow. First, you will need enough wire # 10-1-1 to reach from the 7-Way trailer connector at the back of the H1 to the cab of the vehicle where you plan to mount the brake controller. This wire is sold in 1-foot increments. I recommend...

  • Where are Circuit Breakers/Fuses Installed on Lippert Electric Stabilizer Jacks
The Lippert stabilizer jacks like you have use an 6 amp auto reset circuit breaker and a 20 amp fuse or breaker. If you check out the diagram I attached you'll see how it normally would be wired. For a 20 amp breaker you'd need the part # PK54520 and for a 6 amp breaker part # LC134181. If somehow the motors are bad they are part number # LC138445.

Yes, whoever it is that told you about the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller, # RED44FR has definitely made a great recommendation to you, absolutely this will work in your 2022 Subaru Ascent. The installation process depends if your Ascent is equipped with the factory tow package. You will need the controller and a 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7. If the Winnebago has a 4-Way then it will be a little easier to install. If it does not, there is just a little more hardwiring that will need to be done. It sounds like your Prodigy P2 trailer brake controller # 90885 may not be getting the 12V operating power from the Journey's battery. With a hardwired type of installation this input power is routed from the battery positive terminal through a circuit breaker and on to the controller's black power wire. • Brake Controller Recommendation for a Truck with Air Brakes and a Trailer with Electric Brakes
The trailer brakes work on a separate circuit than the lights. You have a couple of options to control the electric brakes on the trailer. One option is to use an air over electric brake control, # HA100400C. This unit connects to the air brakes on the truck and when the brakes are applied it sends an electric signal back to the trailer brakes.
