Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement printed circuit boards for your max air powered lift RV roof vents. As you can see, we've got two different boards here. These are the part numbers that you see on the screen there. Essentially, these are exactly the same thing with one small difference between them.
If you look at the circuit board, you can see they have almost all of the same components except this large black box here. This is actually going to allow you to work. Allows this board to work for your max air vents that are both exhaust and intake. So this other one that does not have that box is only going to work with your max air fans that are exhaust only. If your unit is able to bring air in as well as exhaust it out, you're going to need this one over here.If your unit is only capable of exhausting the air from inside your RV, this is the unit that you will need here.
Keep those part numbers up there for you to make sure that you are getting the right one. It's a pretty slight difference between them, but obviously it's going to have a big impact on their usability. We want to make sure that you're getting the product that you need, so just wanting to clear that up for you. Both of them are going to work with your max air power. It's just that functionality difference that you need to look out for.

Replaces the printed circuit board for your MaxxFan RV roof vent with powered lift and reversible fan. Only concern is that one of the components (yellow square piece, see photo) on the control board looks to be bent over as a result of the shipping process in soft materials. I have straightened it out by hand and am hoping everything works once installed. Otherwise clear communication and great customer service.
I think I got scammed from Amazon. I purchased 2 max fans & held them until my roof on my rv was done. Now the warranty is up one fan works and the other did the green light death thing. Brand new and it doesn’t work. This replacement works very well a bit high priced but what can I do with a 350 fan with a bad controller. It was shipped very fast and works perfectly. The manufacturer should be giving discounts to offset the price of repairs. Thank you for having the part and fast shipping.
After I finally got it in it worked as it should. The hardest part was getting it in with all the wires in a small area. Lots of fitting then moving then fitting again. Then success.
Etrailer service was 5 star. MaxxAir part worked but didn’t fix the problem of the fan beeping & shutting off. Decided to bypass the board and wired a reverse polarity variable speed switch directly to the fan. Works fine now. I just lost the automatic lid closure function, which is no big deal.
After we figured out what the problem with our MaxxFan was, we ordered the part and it arrived soon after ordering. We installed the new circuit board and that cleared up our problem.
Easy install, fixed my fan in kitchen and have had no issues since. Super happy with.
I purchased from e trailer but had to go the manufacturer for replacement of faulty unit. If there is next time I will go direct to them.
basically would not talk to me to have this item returned, wasted nearly $[XX] !! ive bought from etrailer several times, wont be back

The part was delivered quickly in good shape. I followed youtube videos to install it and its working fine for the last year.
Works. Circuit board did not look the same as the original, but still worked as advertised.

I would have given 5 stars but the circuit board had some damage to it and was doubtful it would work but it worked just fine.
I had called MaxxAir and asked about getting this part to fix a flashing Green light on one of the fans that I have in my 2012 Aspect. They quoted me a price of $116.40 plus tax and shipping but they were out of stock and delivery probably would not happen for 2-3 weeks I was told. I have ordered parts from trailer.com before and had always received fair pricing, quick delivery and good customer service. I placed my order - the cost was $136.17 (about $20 more than direct from the manufacturer), Sales tax (7%) is based upon the delivery address and shipping was free from trailer.com (a savings of $9.67). So, I paid about $10 more overall than had I gone direct. However, I received the control board in just over 4 days from Utah to South Carolina and IT WORKED. My Maxx Air fax is now working properly again. I'll continue to purchase from etrailer.com. I recommend you give them a try on your next order.

I completely understand that the lengthy delay in obtaining the item was the fault of MaxxAir and not etrailer. I am NOT a happy camper! MAXXAIR roof vents are a piece of crap. Three times now I have had to replace the circuit boards and they still do not work. Correction, they work for a short while then stop. E trailer experts were great, you put me in direct contact with Maxxair and they were helpful but their productcircuit boards are simply crap. From the looks of the large number of similar complaints. I am not the only persons complaining. I would NEVER RECOMEND MAXXAIR to anyone.
This was a great solution for the “green light of death” on our MaxxAir Fan. It was easy to install and worked immediately. The order arrived safely and on time. The price was good value.

2 of my 3 MaxxAir fan had the green light of death. Long story short one of the replacement boards worked while the other replacement board did not fix the green death. Extremely frustrating that this needed to be done to brand new fans in the first place and I still have an issue with one of the fans. Not etrailers fault but I wouldn’t recommend a MaxxAir fan to anyone.

Just what I needed!
Parts worked perfectly and was easy to install.
Not the fault of etrailer but trying to use the site to try and troubleshoot a problem with my Maxxair fan, the problem seems to be common that the sensor or circuit boards fail a lot. After replacing both and still having issues, I think it is time to look for a different manufacturer.
