Breakers have not needed to trip yet. I doubt that they ever will unless a wiring to ground short occurs of a switch is HELD with motor rotor lock for more than a second or two!

by:

Easy to order and already put in the camper! Thank you!

by:

This is a hard to find part. My RV dealer said I needed a new stabilizer motor after it quit working. All I needed was this breaker to get my unit working again. You need to have a spare one in your tool kit.

Great service, fast shipping, exactly what I ordered!

by:

Thanks great service, will shop with you again definitely. Got my trailer back on the road with little down time.

With the OEM installation being open and exposed to road salt and other contaminants, my relay burned out way sooner than it should have. Exact match to OEM and returned my stabilizers to service.

by:

I replaced the OEM part with this unit. It was 100% compatible and I have experienced no problem since it was replaced.

  • Troubleshooting Circuit Breaker of Lippert Stabilizer Jack that is Tripping
It's not out of the question that the breaker could be bad which we offer the part # LC134181 as a replacement but it's also possible it's something else like the motor being bad and wanting to draw too much amperage which is causing it to trip. We have the replacement motor with the part # LC138445. You could bypass the breaker and see if the motor runs and if the wire starts to get too warm. If it works fine it's the breaker but if the wire starts to get warm it's the motor.

  • Why Doesnt Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC337199 Have Weight Capacity
The Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC337199 that you referenced does not have a weight or lifting capacity because it's not designed to actually lift and basically it will level and stabilize any RV it can fit on.

  • Troubleshooting Lippert Stabilizer Jack No Longer Working
I really sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with the rear Lippert Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 on your travel trailer. The sporadic operation you're experiencing makes me think there's either an issue with the power source/connection or with a weak ground. The first thing I recommend doing is tracing the power wire all the way to the battery, making sure there aren't any pinched, exposed, or otherwise damaged portions of wire that need to be repaired/replaced. Verify that the...

  • Troubleshooting Lippert Stabilizer Jacks that Stopped Working After Accident
I'd say you found the smoking gun and it's because he "may have hit something". I'd inspect for further damage as it's likely there's more. I'd also use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to see if you can find voltage to the motors and everything else to help pinpoint where the problem is. My guess is that the simple answer is that he took out wiring to the jacks when he hit something and that's why it all stopped working.

  • Troubleshooting Lippert Powered Stabilizer that Stopped Working with Switch
The switch should allow power to go through it when the switch is in the "on" position but if it's off and power is going through it that would not be a good sign. But I believe you are asking about it while in the on position. It's probably a motor since you are able to crank the jacks manually and the switch seems good. You could bypass the breaker and if that allows it to work that would tell you if that's the issue. The replacement would be the # LC134181. If it's the motor then you...

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Stabilizer Jacks Not Working
I recommend using a Test Light # PTW2993 or Multimeter # PT89ZR to verify your battery positive shows power to a good chassis ground point. This will help you verify the ground connection hasn't gone bad and your battery charged. From there you will follow the wire to the Circuit Breakers # LC134181 to ensure they are providing power to the different circuits. Then you will be able to verify if you have power at the Switch # LC387874. If you have power to the jack motors they are likely...

  • Troubleshooting Lippert Stabilizer Jack That Was Over Loaded
If you have a stabilizer system like Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707, then you should be able to check out the attached wiring diagram to verify where the fuse and breaker should be. The breaker is inline of the red wire in between the motor and switch; if you need a new breaker then you can use Replacement 6-Amp Auto Reset Breaker # LC134181. The fuse is inline of red wire between the battery and the switch; replace with fuse of same rating if fuse is blown. If you...

Yes, I have attached the wiring diagram of the Replacement Electric Jack Switch with Harness # LC387874 for you to reference. Basically the Blue wire goes to a 6A auto reset breaker, like part # LC134181, which then goes to the positive circuit for extending, the Yellow goes to the positive circuit when retracting, the Red wire goes to the positive battery terminal, and the Black wire goes to the negative battery terminal.

  • Troubleshooting Electric Stabilizer Jacks Suddenly Not Working on Trailer
The fact that the electric stabilizers on your Forest River Super V Trailer failed at the same time leads me to believe that the issue is at the power source. It's very possible that the battery has enough juice to send power to the motors but not enough to actually operate the jacks when under load. This actually isn't terribly uncommon. I highly recommend inspecting your battery to make sure it's fully charged and in good condition. Also check that the power wires are securely attached...

The Lippert Stabilizer uses a 6 amp auto reset circuit breaker and a 20 amp fuse or breaker. If you look at the diagram below you'll see where they normally would be located at. For a replacement 20 amp breaker # PK54520 will work and if you need a 6 amp breaker # LC134181 is the correct one. The switch # LC387874 could also be bad and need replaced.

  • LCI PSx1 Stabilizer Not Holding
When you say that your PSX1 stabilizer is “not holding” I imagine that as people get over that area of the trailer that their weight pressing down is allowing the worm gear to back off making the trailer bounce a little. I further suspect that you don't mean that the legs go all the way up, but rather they are just off the ground by less than 1/2”. I see two scenarios. The “brake” portion of the motor has failed and this allows the worm gear to turn freely when people put weight pressure...

  • Troubleshooting Power Jacks that Stopped Working After Disconnecting Trailer From Tow Vehicle
First thing you'll want to do is verify that power is making it to the jack with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. You'll want to use this to test for voltage on the wires running to the jacks. If none, then that is where you'll need to look to find the issue. If there is power there then it's most likely the ground circuit for the jacks. Jacks commonly ground through mounting hardware so that's a good place to start. You should also try hooking back up to the tow vehicle to see if...

The breaker should auto-reset if tripped though, so I do not suspect this is the cause. It is replaceable with part # LC134181. • What to Check When a Rear Stabilizer Jack Is Malfunctioning
It is definitely odd that your jack is only doing this some of the time. Before getting too far into it, I highly suggest checking all the grounds as if one went bad, it can cause any number of weird things to happen. If your grounds all look good, you will need to check the screw that turns and makes the legs rise and lower. If this is getting bound up on something, it could be the issue. I would check to make sure there isn't anything stuck anywhere and clean it if there is. I also suggest...

  • 30 Amp Fuse Keeps Blowing on LCI Stabilizer Jacks Between Campsites
If the jacks are working most of the time, but blowing the fuse between campsites, it is most likely a ground issue. This could be loose, but could also be just a bad connection somewhere. I suggest checking all your ground connections on both the trailer and vehicle, just to make sure. One thing you could also try, is unplugging the trailer when starting the vehicle. It could be that the starting amps are getting too high for that fuse and causing it to blow. This is fairly unlikely and...
