by:

It works! Only thing that I dislike was the way the handle hangs when it’s on vertical position leaving me to zip tie it so it won’t hang during a drive.

by:

I like the compact size of this swivel jack, unlike others that were so much taller. This one is the perfect size for my small utility trailer. The only option I wished it had was the option to switch out the foot pad for a wheel to easily maneuver it around.

by:

I needed a swing jack for my 25' boat trailer, to move it around without hitching to my truck. As you can see, by the pictures, I bolted on a 10" lawn / garden swivel caster to the foot of your jack. This way I can drop the jack down and raise the original jack up (which has a too small wheel that sinks into my soft yard). In this way I use my lawn tractor to move the boat around my yard. Hitched to my truck and the rig is to long to maneuver.

Works good

This is not my first order through Etrailer, and if further items are needed, it will not be my last. Product availability has not been a problem, at all. Customer service has been exemplary, which is darn hard to come by these days. Product was shipped within 24 hours of placing my order. Oh yeah! I will do businesses with ETrailer again. No probs!

by:

This jack is perfect. It fits my trailer well, seems well built, and was easy to install. Some of the other jacks I looked at locally seemed like they were mounted loosely and would rattle around. This one is tight against the trailer and doesn't rattle while driving.

12/18/2014

Hey Josh, this is Tim. I know this question has nothing to do with the jack which I have ordered but what kind of spare tire bracket do you have?

Josh M.

1/1/2015

Hi Tim,The spare tire bracket is a Fulton bolt-on spare tire carrier. It fits nicely with the jack on my trailer.

Rachael H.

1/5/2015

Josh, thanks for the follow up. We currently offer these Fulton Spare Tire carriers: # FETCHL0700, # FETCHL0700, # FETCSTL0701, # FHDSTC0101, and the # FSTC1000301.

This jack stand #PSI1400300303, was ordered to replace a bent stationary jack on a used trailer I purchased and built up. A small 8' x 5' open trailer used for trash, firewood, moving, ect. with 2500lb axels and springs. With the tounge area being small as it was, locating the jack to swivel out of the way was exactly what I needed. The ease of use, extra clearence, height of rise was perfect when moving the trailer without the truck. Strudy skid plate, not a wheel was a bonus for my needs. Mounted easily, securely, quickly with all included hardware and instructions. Very happy with Jack and E Trailer's service and shipping.

by:

The trailer jack that I bought from etrailer has worked beautifully in every way and I would recommend it to anyone.

While I am praising etrailer I would like to note that I built my trailer because I needed a specialized trailer to carry a railroad handcar that is transported weekly to do rail maintenance work. I knew how to weld but I had no previous experience of trailer building. I found the etrailer website and experts available by email or phone to be very helpful in guiding me in the purchase of many parts for the trailer. These pars, including such things as tail lights, wiring and hitch have been faultless. I particularly recommend the axleless torsion suspension. The set I purchased performs superbly even on very rough roads.

My experience with etrailer was so pleasant that it makes me want to build another trailer just so that I can deal with etrailer again.

by:

I bought this trailer jack for a utility trailer after having had problems with other jacks with other designs. This one has worked perfectly, staying out of the way when I'm not using it, but working smoothly and effectively when I do. Installation was easy, and it's worked out great!

by:

The Pro Series was definitely the right choice for me. This jack is way better built than the jack that came on my utility trailer. By mounting the Snap-Ring Swivel Jack I can now completely open the tailgate on my truck while the trailer is attached.

by:

Installation was simple. Suggest using two rachets, one on the bolt, on eon the nut. Makes it really quick. Good Product.

by:

Works just fine. Here's a photo of it in use. Mounted to 100 gallon
portable fuel tank with 15gpm pump, meter, fuel separator. Unit is eco-friendly as it's self powered by a single solar panel constantly charging the battery that runs the pump.

by:

Jack was perfect for the trailer I installed it on. Looks quality built, price was good, shipping was fast and communications was excellent. I look forward to doing more business in the future with Etrailer.

by:

I borrowed my nephew's trailer and bent the jack on it. Your jack saved the day, and the way it folds up will keep it from getting bent like the first one.
Here are some pics, the original bent one, the new one installed, and the new one folded up.

by:

Jack was easy to put on, works perfectly and the price was very good.

by:

This swingaway trailer jack installed in about 20 minutes with no issues. It securely locks in place both the "down" and "up" positions. It also retracts without being under load, i.e., the handle will retract the jack under any use conditions. The handle may need to be secured by a small bungee cord to keep it from swinging down toward the ground. I haven't fully checked that potential issue as yet. This is one of the few jacks that has all the features I like and still gives a generous amount of ground clearance (important when placing the coupler on the hitch ball. Rated at 2000 pounds, this jack would be a bargain at twice the price.

Andy B.

8/18/2016

No issues. I use either a bungee cord or a short piece of paracord to tie the handle in place. Works well.

by:

I replaced my fixed mount jack with this swivel model, now I can swivel it up and not rub the leg on uneven road surfaces, no more fears of damaging my jack.

by:

My old welded on snap ring jack quit working. I bought this bolt-on replacement jack thinking I was going to use my angle grinder to take off the old one and bolt this new one on in its place. But when I took off the snap ring on the old one, I realized it was the same size as my new jack---so, I popped the snap ring off the new jack, separated the mechanism and, using the new snap ring, reapplied to the new jack. Now I have a brand new swivel jack. (Just tossed the bolts in the parts drawer).

great! One finger spin updown to get into position.

by:

I can only give this a GOOD rating because the shipment didn't include the mounting hardware as indicated. Somehow it was overlooked when the order was boxed for shipment. One quick phone call to etrailer and the install kit is on the way. Customer service was great and I hope to get the parts I need this week so I can install it this next weekend.

Tom M.

12/1/2015

Quick response from customer service and the jack installed quickly. Jack works great even after a year of use. Great product.

by:

Awesome product. Easy to install and use. Would recommend to everyone. Best invention they came out with!!!

by:

If you've ever had your trailer and boat tilt-up while you've been working in your
boat's stern area, a pair of jack stands (port and starboard sides of trailer) is a great solution!

Gary S.

8/3/2018

The trailer jack is working fine and meets my expectations. Thanks.

by:

Bought this Jack, knowing it was heavier than it needed to be, for my little trailer. But I am sure glad I did. Nothing flimsy about this Jack, well made. Should last me a long time.

Ed M.

7/13/2018

Still totally happy with this jack, glad I purchased one with the flat plate instead of a wheel, that way it does not roll around. It is used on a small Tear Drop trailer, therefor you do not want it the trailer to move when youre in it.

by:

I ordered a variety of products from etrailer.com to help build a custom rooftop tent trailer for a 8 week road trip. These included 2 different jacks to stabilize the trailer, wheel blocks, coupler and hitch locks, and a receiver/hitch for installation on my 2008 Honda Fit Sport. While researching and building my trailer, I was very pleased with the variety of products available on etrailer.com. It quickly became my go-to, one-stop site for all my trailer related parts. After 8 weeks on the road, all the components are still going strong and I am looking forward to many more years of adventures with my trailer! The specialty coupler and hitch locks were great for peace of mind on such a long trip, especially for the numerous occasions where my trailer sat unattended for a long duration while my girlfriend and I were out hiking, climbing, or backpacking

by:

I like this jack. It swings down close to the ground, so less jacking up is necessary. It's close enough that I don't even need a block to go under it now. When it's in the up position, it can't possibly drag it on anything when the terrain is rough. I like this jack.

Great

by:

The jack was perfect for my little trailer. I use it to haul water and it's so heavy trying to lift tongue off of ball. Not anymore. I would definitely recommend this company. Extremely outgoing staff. Great products!

Jason D.

7/16/2017

A year and still functions like it came out of the box. No signs of wear or rust. Would highly recommend it.

by:

Well made. Smooth operation. Nice for my 34 ton log splitter although I should have got the side crank type which would've made this retrofit a perfect solution for that application, but that was my mistake. Still, very pleased with this lift.

John

  • Trailer Jack Solution For Jack that Hits Tailgate When Down
The # PSEA20000103 is one of the shortest A-frame jacks we offer from the mounting bracket to the top of the jack at 11 inches. The best solution I can recommend would be to go with a side mounted trailer jack like part # PS1400300303 that would install on the trailer frame behind where your current jack is so that you would have tailgate clearance when needed.

A side-frame mount jack like the Pro Series Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Jack # PS1400300303 could be used on a travel trailer, but there are some things you will want to take into consideration. Typically, A-frame jacks are used on travel trailers to provide support at the centerline of the trailer. A side-mount jack will provide support at one side of the trailer. When possible, it is best to support the trailer at the center of the A-frame, rather than to one side or the other. Another...
