Trailer Jack Recommendation That Swivels For More Ground Clearance
Question:
I need a swivel tongue jack for my trailer but I meed to be able to lower the front of the trailer very low. So from the bottom of the mounting bracket to the bottom of the wheel I need the shortest dimension possible. I am not sure you provide this dimension in any fashion but I was hoping for 6inch to 8inch @ the most

When choosing a jack for your trailer, the first thing you need to consider is the capacity of the jack. I have attached a link to our product page for the swivel jacks we offer. You can also select a jack that has a wheel or has a footplate, depending on your need.
If you need a jack that has a 1,000 lb weight capacity I recommend the Pro Series Trailer Jack, part # PSEJ10000101. This swivels up parallel to the trailer tongue when not in use which would give you the clearance you asked about. This is a bolt-on jack that fits trailer tongues up to 3 x 5 inches. The retracted height of this jack is 13 inches.
If you need a jack that has more capacity I recommend the Pro Series Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Jack, part # PS1400300303. This will fit trailer tongues up to 3 x 4 inches and has a 2,000 lb weight capacity. The retracted height of this jack is 11 inches.
