Today, you're going to be taking a look at the Brophy mounting bracket for four-pole flat trailer connectors. That's going to be part number BK4F.So here's what our four-pole bracket's going to look like once we have it installed. It's going to allow us to have our four-pole wiring right by our hitch. That way whenever we get ready to tow, we can plug right up. This is going to be a lot better solution to secure our wire rather than just hanging it on our hitch or securing it to our safety chain connection point because we don't have to worry about our wires hanging down and possibly getting damaged. Our bracket is going to work with most four-pole standards plugs, and even if we remove the dust cap, you can see it's not going to fall back in even if we have to really push to plug in our trailer. Installing it is going to be as simple as putting two bolts in and running your four-pole connection through the bracket.
Let's show you how to do that now.Our four-pole bracket is going to have two holes on it, so we can either mount it to our hitch or another bracket so we can put our wiring in place. Keep in mind that our bracket's not going to come with any hardware, but if you are using a short or long bracket, there will be hardware with that kit. So I'm going to drop down my hardware from on top of the bracket. I'll line up the hole in my four-pole bracket, and I'll do that for the other hole as well. Then I'll come back and tighten up all the hardware. Now, you just want to take the dust cap off your four-pole, and coming from the back side, we'll push it through.
You just want to make sure that you push it in far enough that the tabs on there are going to catch. This will prevent it from going back in. I'm just going to have to work it back and forth a little bit. Then we can tie up any of the excess wires behind the hitch, and we can even put a little bit of electrical tape to hide the color on the back of our car. That'll finish up your look at the Brophy mounting bracket for four-pole flat trailer connectors, part number BK4F.

Bracket for 4-way flat trailer connector mounts to your trailer hitch or vehicle bumper and provides a sturdy, fixed location to easily connect your trailer wiring. All 3 items arrived together and on schedule. The only reason I do not give the purchase 5 stars is because the wiring harness had to be modified to work with my car. If I didn’t go to a trailer repair company, the wiring may still not be on the car.
Easy to install and works great to keep the wiring harness from dragging.
Mounted fine to bumper, but does not hold harness at all.
Easy to install and etrailer was very helpful finding the right parts.
Seemed cheap (Thin metal) but works well with the harness kit. I bought this because NOBODY makes a aftermarket flange mount flat plug only trailer plug in.

Just fine! Not a complicated device!
Installed on Curt No-Drill Bracket for 6-Way or 7-Way Round Trailer Connector Mounting Bracket - Long on to Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" worked great just what I needed!!
Instalation was pretty quick and easy, the completed installation worked great on my new trailer.
Bracket is well made however it was very difficult to get my 4 prong plug in the bracket properly. Actually had to open the slot abit just to get started. With all that being said the finish product looks great. Not sure this bracket if this bracket was supposed to be a good fit
Very good customer relations and fast service.
Thank you Carl Cole
Perfect, sturdy and good fit.
Did not fit T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with Upgraded Circuit Protected ModuLite HD Module - 4-Way Flat

I would have liked to have gotten fasteners with this product. But it works good.
My mounting bracket came with no hardware. Guess I’ll spend tomorrow at the store spending additional money. Hitch Receiver and wiring harness were as expected. Installation went great. Wiring harness came with a self tapping screw. Could not find a use for it, nor could find anything in the instruction on what it’s used for. Disappointed with the number of zip ties included. Had to use additional zip ties.
This probably works fine but I can't tell just yet. The mounting screws don't come with this so now I have to go and buy some.
Fits perfect
Speedy delivery
No screws or bolts nor instructions.
Simple Bracket. Went to the auto parts store and bought some U-Nuts and Screws to make a clean installation.
Good product hard to fit wire in on some harnesses
Works great
Product fit as advertised
Fit the bill my hitch hook up was great but this will keep my wires in check
Was simple to install only couple screws. Then slide the plug thru the hole and it locks into place. That’s it your done!! Holds the flat 4 pin plug perfectly haven’t had any problems
You guys are awesome!! Thank you for the quality hitch and wiring harness

That is kind of a bummer. Sometimes the bracket can be just a little too big and harness a little too small enough to make it not work. What I recommend is to use electrical tape to thicken up the four flat connector so that it stays in place.
