Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ultra Fab Replacement Caster Wheel for Ultra Fab Trailer Jacks. This is going to replace a caster wheel for your Ultra Fab manual trailer jack. It does work with jacks that have a 1 and 3/4 inch diameter inner tube. The wheel is made from a tough plastic construction. This is going to give us a width measurement of about 2 inches and a diameter of that wheel is about 5 and 3/4 inches. The housing, so this component right here and the tube that secures it to the jack, that's going to be made from steel and has a powder coat finish on it. It's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion so we're looking at a very strong, durable design.
Now this is going to feature nylon bearings. That's going to allow the wheel to move very smoothly so it's got a nice smooth operation to it, and right here at the top, it also features a swivel design to allow for easier movement of your trailer, getting it into those tighter spaces. Pretty simple installation. It does come with the included pin and clip so the inner tube of the jack goes directly inside this portion here and then you secure the caster on with the included pin and clip. This replacement caster wheel does fit the older manual crank trailer jacks. This caster wheel has a 1.75 inch O.D., and fits the 2" jack. Caution is recommended when choosing the correct caster wheel, as many describing their's as a wheel for a 2" jack is incorrect. Theirs is for a 2.25 inch jack that has an inner tube diameter of 2.00 inches. Now, the hole drilled through for the clasp pin is rough on the inside of the tube, and required filing before the wheel would slip over the inner jack tube. The wheel caster arms are half as thick as the OEM unit, but seems to be well made. Overall I am pleased with this product.

This does fit my 1 3/4" trailer jack unlike other wheels that say they fit. Only had it on for a bit but has worked great so far. Very glad I found this wheel.

Doesn't fit well on my jack, same problem as the oem wheel. It's not going to last long as is difficult to turn.

The original Jack wheel for my 1989 pop up camper was left at a campsite and never found. I contacted local camper sales businesses and searched the internet looking for a replacement. I found a replacement wheel with a different on line company but after two unsuccessful purchases and their only contact was email or chat room I was sure I’d never find the wheel replacement. - Is There a Trailer Jack Wheel That Uses Ball BearingsThe vast majority of trailer jack wheels don't use traditional steel ball bearings as they aren't really meant for rotation speed but rather weight bearings. I am not aware of any options which use traditional steel ball bearings. The Replacement Caster Wheel for Ultra-Fab Manual 2" Trailer Jack part # UF49-954035 uses nylon bushings which provide a smoother than normal rotation.
