Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the removable, steel footplate for your trailer jack. So this is for the Dutton-Lainson trailer jack but it's gonna work with other brands as well. All you really need to know is that your inner tube is about two inches in diameter cause that's what this is gonna take. It does come with a pin, which is nice. Just pop this out, put this on. And this really is an essential part of your jack, just because the pipe is completely hollow.
So if we we're to put this down on gravel, dirt, it will eventually completely fill up. So this is gonna cover that hole and just kind of spread out a lot of that and give you more surface area so it's not gonna sink down as much. It's made of steel. It has a zinc finish to it, which is gonna help resist against rust and corrosion. So this zinc coating is called TUFFPLATE.
So this is gonna little bit more resistant against rust compared to just a standard zinc finish. So that's always awesome. It is gonna have an overall length of about seven inches and overall width of about four inches. It's a little bit bigger than some that we see. And there are others that may be a little bit bigger but this is gonna be plenty for what we really need.
We just wanna make sure that we don't really exceed the capacity on it, a 5,000 pounds on it. But just because the plate can hold 5,000 pounds you do wanna make sure that your jack can do the same. So this one has a lift capacity of 2000 and a static capacity of 3000. So we wanna stay underneath that. So that's something to kind of think about.
But when it comes to these plates it doesn't really have to go on Dutton-Lainson one. Just make sure the tube is two inches in diameter and that's pretty much it. It does come with a pin and there really isn't a whole lot to this. But if I we're to add something to it since we already have a jack that we can add a plate to but I would suggest is have a plate for when you're just letting it sit. But if you do like to wheel it around you can put a wheel on it as well. And this will accept a two inch inner tube diameter as well. But it's just kind of nice to have different little attachments to put on there just depending on your situation. If I we're to compare this to another one. This one right here is a little bit more popular than the one we're looking at today for the Dutton-Lainson. But they both work for all of the different jacks that you may have. There really isn't a whole lot of difference here. This one's just a little bit wider and a little bit shorter. But they're all made of the same material. They have the same coating on em. They fit the same tube diameter, and the same thickness of steel. So I really don't think there's a whole lot of a difference, but you guys do tend to like this one a little bit better than this. So watch my video on this. There isn't a whole lot to it, but I'll go over some specs with that as well. So that's kind of how it sits in the line when it comes to the different options you have on our site. But at the end of the day, you just need to cover up this bottom, just so you don't sink into the ground. That's pretty much it for a look at the removable, steel footplate for your trailer jack..

Exactly what I needed. Well built, and fits perfectly. Also keeps my tongue jack from ruining my wood blocks or filling with dirt. I don't need a Wheel on my jack, and this Foot is the the best choice.

This was my best place to get the foot. However, the SEARCH engine onboard is very naughty. Unless the customer knows YOUR description, good luck. Why hasn't IT set up a string of search words for a product such as this. The man on the street might call it any number of things and they all apply. Thank you, however for what your company does.
