This jack will take the work out of lifting and lowering your trailer. The 30-amp motor ensures trouble-free operation and consistent power with the flip of a switch - no need for a crank. It also has helical-cut gears, which have angled teeth that mesh together clearly. This allows for quieter, more efficient operation than a jack that uses a standard Acme screw.
To ensure great performance even at night, this jack also comes with a front-facing light that houses 3 LEDs. The light is directed at a downward angle allowing for easy deployment and retraction of the jack in low-light settings. The unit also comes with a manual crank handle in case you lose power.
This jack can be bolted or welded onto your A-frame coupler, or it can sit in a brace behind the coupler. As with other Lippert jacks, it is constructed of powder coated steel to ensure that it will resist rust and corrosion and hold up well to the elements. The housing on the jack protects the internal components, and it has a durable, UV-resistant coating that resists chips, cracks, and fading.
You always want to be sure when purchasing a tongue jack that the jack capacity at least matches your trailer's tongue weight (TW). Your trailer's TW should be around 10 percent to 15 percent of your gross trailer weight (GTW), which is the weight of your trailer when it's fully loaded. So if you have a 5,000-lb trailer you would want a jack that can support at least 500 lbs to 750 lbs.
A trailer jack is designed to lift the tongue of your trailer so you can connect the trailer coupler to your hitch ball. To do this, you'll need a jack with a lift capacity high enough to handle your trailer's tongue weight.
Tongue weight is the amount of weight that your trailer applies to the back of your tow vehicle. Typically, your tongue weight should be 10-15% of your total trailer weight (trailer + cargo). In other words, a 10,000-lb trailer would have a tongue weight between 1,000 lbs and 1,500 lbs. For a trailer this size, you would need a jack with a lift capacity of at least 1,500 lbs.
It's okay to have a jack with a weight rating that is higher than your trailer's tongue weight. In fact, a jack with a higher lift capacity should operate more efficiently, allowing you to spend less time cranking and more time camping.
Every jack offers a certain amount of lift or travel. Screw travel is the distance the jack extends when you crank it (or toggle it to "extend" on an electric model). Some jacks include a drop leg for extra adjustability. On these jacks, you'll see the maximum extension of the drop leg listed in the specs as well. Adding the screw travel and drop leg travel together will give you the total lift. The total lift listed above can help you determine how high this jack will be able to raise your trailer.

Extends 6" in 41 seconds with 1,000 lbs of tongue weight.The bolt pattern matched my trailer so it was very easy. No skill needed. I soldered a connection on and hooked it directly into the battery. I had to drill a hole for my foot extension. So far so good. 23 foot travel trailer.
As always a big help in getting what I need, and wanted. Good tec help, fast service. Already installed.

Worked great, nice upgrade, saves a lot of work. Worth the price.
Love it! No more hand cranking. Installation was a breeze. The trailer tongue has nut plates so it was a easy swap. No extra wrench to loosen the bolts.
I just crimped on a connecter on the end of the power wire, ran the wire through the factory clamps of the camper and put it on the positive side of the battery. Done! I kind of wish it had a slow and fast speed but no biggie. I really like the LED light on the front with its own switch. It adds to the “wow” factor. Thanks again etrailer! I never shop anywhere else.

Jack was easy to install. We've only used the trailer once since replacing the old jack and had no trouble.
it came earlier than stated 1 day earlier , which was great -I bought it to replace the original -they are supposed to be watertight- but the original seized up from not being covered-so, I will not install the new one till spring after winter is over- I did connect it to a battery to be sure it functioned right- I am sure it will do it's job- just learned a hard lesson about keeping it covered against the weather--they should come with a water proof cover for it--but it does not-
Do not like the new design. Much slower than the old version and the buttons stick out too far and now I cannot lower my tailgate while the trailer is attached.
As always, etrailer was informative, very polite and fast with delivery! My sales rep this time was Mike, but it doesn’t matter, all reps are on the ball and ready to help.
My electric tongue jack arrived in two days, was easy to install and makes hitching an unhitching so much easier.

Fit perfectly easy to install. I used it on my 2013 keystone sprinter travel trailer.
Showed up a day early. Looks like a perfect replacement.
First of all , My compliments to the shipping department. I was actually impressed the way that the trailer jack factory package was secured in the etrailer outer shipping box.
Since I was basically just replacing a old jack that I damaged with a new one, the installation was easy. All works great, exceeds my expectations .
I purchased a used trailer that came with a cheap "Made in China" copy of the Lippert 3500 lb electric jack which the dealer had installed. It currently retails for $70.00. It failed after 3 years (trailer only 3 years old). So I bought the "real" deal this time. I had read previous views that said the Lippert 3500 was noisy. Mine barely makes a whisper and compared with my previous jack it doesn't make any noise at all. Etrailer even matched a competitor's low price. I couldn't be happier. Installed it yesterday and it moves up and down with ease. I'd give it and Etrailer 10 stars if I could.

My Lippert 3500 lb electric jack is still working greatsmooth, quiet, and powerful. I am still very happy with it.
Within an hour after receiving the Jack I had it installed and wired up , it’s a very easy installation , and it’s going to be a great timesaver

Product looked great when I opened the box. The box on the other hand was taped closed and torn when it arrived. I like the water seal that has been added to the switches. The jack itself though leaves more to desire as it is slower than the previous model.
I have been using this electric tongue, jack and have been very satisfied with its overall performance

Easy install
Perfect replacement for my non-working jack. I like that it also has a manual hand crank. Good quality and easy to order.
After installation it functions as expected. It raised the tongue of our Casita easily and quietly. It was easy to install on our Casita. It bolted right in. Most of the time taken for the installation had to do with routing the wire from the jack to a power source. I found a suitable power wire in the closet. I used a 10 gauge quick splice connector to make the power connection. It took some effort to get the wire from the jack into the closet. I was able to push a Phillip’s screw driver through to the outside after removing the cable clamp. I cut the red wire from the jack on the diagonal and used pliers to push the red wire through from the outside into the closet. Aside from using the jack today I can’t speak to longevity. It sure was nice not to have to manually perform this task.
