On a shipping note, the box arrived at the Post Office broken wide open. Your shipping folks need to wrap small, heavy, items in bubble wrap. Then stabilize it with foam peanuts. Just putting it in a box then stuffing the box with craft paper does not cut it. Items were not damaged so I am good to go.
Works great and reasonably priced. etrailer Customer Service is absolutely the very best. My first shipment arrived missing the hitch extension. Customer Service quickly responded to my communications and shipped a replacement the same day.
As you can see from the photo the hitch extender is perfect for my Polaris Ranger and allows me to use my small lawn n yard implements.
I highly recommend etrailer.
This extender does a pretty good job of keeping my bike away from the rear radar system in my Venza so the backup warning system does not engage in error. Beware it’s pretty heavy.
This hitch adapter has worked perfectly as an extension for using a bike rack that extends past the trailer spare tire.
perfect length for my specific application. Because the end piece is solid I was not able to insert an anti-rattle device into it. Therefore I will probably weld the extender to the double receiver since it'll be a permanent application.
The extension works perfectly on my class C motor home. Now my cargo carrier doesn't interfere with the back ladder.

Curt’s brand, only the best! USA made, The shaft that goes into the hitch is solid steel not the hollow China crap. I used the hitch extension to make a rear hitch step 12” wide by 38” long for my ford van. I strap my kayaks on top for when we go camping this step just gives me that need height to get them in the kayak saddles before I climb on top to tie them down. I put two kayaks on top so the 38” across comes in handy. With my front hitch I can also put it in the front when I’m working on my van or truck to give me that extra hieght - I’m 6’ and I can’t reach a lot of stuff, even cleaning the windshield.
I had a back ordered item that eventually came along with some other items I ordered at the same time. I’m not good about waiting but the wait was worth it as the entire order came a couple days ago and I immediately started using the items. Thanks for getting it right.

Works very well just like advertised.
Box was damaged and there was no item in box I already called and spoke to a nice customer service lady
The weld looks solid, but needs ground down, or the hole drilled in a different location. The weld prevented the holes to line up. I had to go get a grade 5 1/2" bolt to secure it in place, rather than a hitch pin.
I order a 14" steel (2" type) hitch extension and I received a heavy steel, well-made extension; as advertised. eTrailer found that upgraded faster shipping was available at the same price as regular slower shipping, so they upgraded me. Very nice service!
It is pretty long so works well with exterior spare tire vehicles or if you want access to truck tailgates down with load extenders. Have not used it in that capacity as of yet.
This product is well built and quality! It allows me to use the hitch platform on my Jeep liberty without having to remove the spare tire. Exactly what I was looking for and a quick delivery as well! Great investment.
Works great had one on my Motorhome it broke had to buy a new one on the road way to long

Thank you for your email, I was amazed how quick I received my item. Just bought a newtruck I tow an atv and on my old truck I dented up my tailgate from the device that lowers and raises the trailer, this extender did the trick, now the tailgate on my new truck won't get all screwed up.
Worked great ! Solved problem opening tailgate on jeep tj with spare tire mounted. Opens enough to reach in .

Product is just what we needed and we put it to use immediately with no problems. It enables us to freely engage the rear lift door of our vehicle with my handicap scooter loaded on it's carrier. Great for us.
