The Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 14" Long part # C45795 is designed for 2" hitches and a maximum trailer weight of 3,500 lbs so it would not be a good fit for your 7,000 lb trailer. We do not have a good option for an extender to tow a 7,000 lb trailer because extenders do cut the tongue weight of the hitch on your vehicle in half.
A better option is to use an extra long ball mount like Ball Mount 3/4" Rise or 2" Drop, Extra Long part # D-26 which measures 12-5/8" long from center of pin hole to center of ball hole. If you need a 2-5/16" ball you can use part # 63847 with this ball mount. If you need a 2" ball you can use part # 40038.
