Just what I needed to move my Bobcat UTV hitch back to I can use it as my yard dog to shift my trailers around and not worry about the plastic tailgate nor the plastic bed getting damaged.
The hitch sits under the bed and this extends it out so it is useable.
The hitch extension worked perfect. The only one that was 18" pin to pin which was exacty what I needed to make this combo work.
Dual hitch to start. Top whole a luggage rack to haul coolers and the bottom for the bike rack.

I needed the hitch extender because I added a 9'6" camper on to my truck and I pull my jeep trailer with truck. I trussed the extender back to frame.
I’m using this extender to get past my Go Aero gear space on my RV. I think it could use a way to attach the safety chains and brake away wire but I’ll figure something out

IT WORKS BUT NEEDS A SUPPORT BRAKET TO PREVENT IT FROM SHAKING.
very well made, is as described except does not have the smaller hole for a narrower hitch pin or lock that the picture shows, so is not exactly as pictured. discovered after I received it that it could be vastly improved. the addition of a couple "ear loops" on the sides would greatly simplify use of safety chains. the existing safety chains could go from the trailer hitch to the loops and then new short safety chains from the loops to the vehicle. otherwise, one has to modify the existing chains as they are too short, by adding or replacing chain, and then one ends up with some pretty long safety chains

This item has been updated without the smaller hole. We are in the process of getting new photos together for the item. I apologize for the confusion. Also, our extenders do not have safety chain loops. Extenders cut the weight capacity 50 percent, so for safety purposes, you will have to use the loops on the original hitch.
I tested it on the Jeep and the Stowaway 2 in storage. It works perfect to create clearance with the extra wide spare tire

We are delighted that you are happy with your purchase! Just be aware that using an extender such as this will lower the towing and tongue weight capacity of the hitch by half, due to the extra leverage moving the load rearward will cause.
Bought some tail light lenses for my fishing boat trailer good price came quickly Great service put a bike rack also easy to put together takes minutes to put on and takeoff rack $200 cheaper than my neighbor same bike rack then I bought a ball hitch extension 18 inch to keep my wrangler that we Toby hind the motorhome from hitting the back bumper when I make a sharp turn I’m sure that should take care of the problem everything I bought from the trailer our quality products quality service and everything they ship always comes on time personally I think etrailer rocks
Excellent quality - not a scratch on it when received. The welds appear to be very good. Delivered very quickly.
Didn't rate it excellent only because it lacks rings near the end for safety chains. On the other hand, one extension I found had rings (2 sets of rings - one for vehicle to extension, another from extension to trailer), but it cost nearly $200, and had the same weight rating as this one. As received, the safety chains have to be very long, but for the difference in price, (64 vs 200) I could have rings welded on if needed..
This works perfectly for my application which was to tow a trailer with my tailgate down. Does lower your towing capacity by a fair amount, but for trailers with low tongue weights this isn’t a big deal.
Needed a hitch extension for Gator 825I this piece fit perfectly not a cheap add on 5stars definitely

This extension worked great to allow me to fit my bike rack (4 bikes) between my SUV and pop-up camper. Without it, the propane tank, battery and tongue crank were in the way and prevented me from getting the bikes on the rack. It's rock solid, trailer tows the same as with no extention.

This extends the reach of my hitch on a Yamaha golf cart, under a rear-facing seat. I added an E-trailer step to make it easy for people to step onto the rear platform.
Works just as advertised, needed this to extend the hitch out farther so I could pull my sprayer behind a John Deere Gator, works great, gets the hitch out from under the vehicle. The extender is fine, although I had to do a work around. The female end of the extender is not deep enough The 5/8 inch holes of the tow bar will not line up with the 5/8 inch holes of the extender. I must use the 1/2 inch hole of the extender. And you only gave me 5/8 inch pins. The 1/2 inch I own is not long enough to go all the way through the extender. The work around was to buy a 1/2 x 4 inch bolt and nut. Not ideal, but it works.
You cannot beat the customer service and the quality of their products. It's not often anymore you find people who really care about you as a customer. These people care and their products are the best. I bought the 18 inch hitch extension and it is exactly what I needed. They even upgraded my shipping. I will recommend them to my friends and you can bet I will use them in the future. I wish them all the success in the world.
Works 100% as advertised. I use it to extend my bike rack past my new rear mounted spare. I’ve put in thousands of highway miles and some off road with bikes. Zero problems.
Order/communication/shipping was awesome. Ordered Sunday night and got an email from a rep saying it was received. An hour later another email from another rep said it was in stock and would ship shortly. Shipping email came that same night, and product arrived in 3 days as expected. Product is very solid, just as spec'd and fits my need perfectly. Only negative is it is doesn't have safety chain hooks which will have to be welded on.
Found exactly what I was looking for at etrailer. I purchased an 18" hitch extender to aid in launching my skiff. I paid for 3 days shipping and it arrived in 3 days along with the accessories I ordered. All products very well made and did the job.
Exactly what I needed for towing my jet ski. The extra length makes it much easier to back up, as before the ski trailer was very prone to jackknife.
This extension work great on my truck it gave the need space to keep my cargo box on my truck and still tow my trailer

After one year its still one of the best upgrades I have done to my Bobcat UTV. The only thing I have added is installing two anti-rattle hitch tighter to take out the rattle from the hitch extension and the ball hitch when I dont have a trailer connected.
