The tire width of a 35/1250/17 spare tire is 12-1/2 inches. If you have a hitch receiver that like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98856 that sits flush with the end of your 2016 Jeep Wrangler's bumper, I recommend the Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 14" Long # C45795. The 1-1/2 additional inches of the 14-inch extender will allow you to attach accessories without interference. It must be noted that any time you use a hitch adapter of any kind, you decrease the maximum weight capacity of the hitch by 50%.
