Keep with spare tire out of weather to prevent rust.

Every Curt product we've purchased over the years has been perfect. Quality, fitment, price, etc has been spot on. The Curt products are far better made than Reese and Draw-Tite. Not even close!

by:

Worked perfectly.

Super easy installation
and it carried a U-haul 5x8 trailer 1000 miles with almost full capacity on tow-limits.

A little disappointed that the connecting rod doesn't fit perfectly into the receiver hitch. So, when there is no weight on the ball mount, it is wobbly and makes an annoying metal-to-metal clinking noise whenever you go over a ditch. You can easily correct it with a piece of cardboard stuffing for cushioning or just take it off when not it use.

Great piece of equipment, works perfectly! Super happy with the purchase.

This is one of the finest companies to do business with I’ve ever ordered from. Do not hesitate for a moment to order from this exceptional company. You will never be disappointed.

by:

Easy installation, good manual. No problems on day to day use.

by:

Everything arrived pretty quick and the install wasn't too difficult for 1 person (would've helped to have an extra set of hands). Took a couple tries to line everything up and realize that certain brackets needed to be unbolted before the hitch would align (tow hook on passenger side, and a couple near the rear driver's side exhaust hanger).
Minimal trimming required for the underside of the rear bumper plastic on the driver's side to make room on an 05 wrx wagon. Also needed at least 1 extra long exhaust hanger (kartboy) for the rear to make everything level with my 3" turbo back APS exhaust.
Haven't gotten a chance to tow with it yet, but it feels solid.

Excellent product. Good professional advise given so that I bought the right product to fit my existing hitch. Courteous, professional service. High quality, good value product. Fast shipping at reasonable cost. Highly recommended. If if need other products this is the place

Works great, better than an adapter.

Been no trouble, it was easy to fit.

by:

Very heavy this product is. I was very surprised when I picked up the box it came in and felt the weight, which makes me glad I bought a bag to carry it in. The last hitch I ever got, from another plac, because I needed it in a pinch for my last car during a move, wasn't even close to being as heavy and it was about the same size and had the same weight capacity. The metal on that one also didn't seem right either, didn't have the smooth coating this one does. I am quite confident this ball mount from Curt, who has been in this business for decades, will easily take the weight of my trailer, which I use for things like mulch and stone, and then some.

Of course I don't ever plan to over load it, but if something ever happens that requires me to make fast lane changes, I am confident the ball mount won't give out on me. I will still use good safety chains though, I'd be foolish not to. If it's one thing I learned i life, anything can happen no matter how much you prepare ahead of time.

After a year using my Curt Towing kit I’m extremely pleased. Great, durable quality product. Thanks for fast efficient service.

by:

My hitch ball fits like a glove into the receiver I installed this summer on my 2003 Suburu Baja. The ordering experience was easy and inspiring. Why can't all websites be so intelligent? I haven't used the hitch yet, but it's solid as a rock so I have no doubts all will be well.

by:

Pin broke with smallest UHaul trailer (unloaded) on back, dropping the hitch and trailer in the road. Fixed it with a better pin and hitch works fine now.

by:

The hitch install was easy, the electrical was a bit more tedious, but all is working well.

by:

Easy to slide in and out of the hitch receiver, and it doesn't even rattle around and create noise when I'm towing.

by:

Quality product, well made, but design could be improved. The square bar that slides into the receiver on the car/truck is too long, resulting in the hitch ball being about a foot behind the bumper, at least it is on 2004 Ford Explorer. It becomes a trip, knee, or hinge hazard if not removed after towing.

by:

Excellent quality

by:

Works good

by:

Good deal for this high quality combo.

by:

Love it ! Great product for the price

by:
