Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the replacement hardware kit for trailer hitches, part number RHK. This part number is the replacement installation hardware kit for Curt Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese trailer hitches. Now basically if you have a trailer hitch that has an old hardware or hardware is damaged or missing, this is the part you need to order to get everything needed to install the hitch to your vehicle.On this video we're going to describe how to order the correct installation kit for your specific trailer hitch on your vehicle. Now, every trailer hitch when it's shipped will come with the specific hardware that's required to install that hitch to your vehicle and also meet the maximum towing capacities of that hitch. Having the correct grade and strength of bolts is required for your hitch to meet those capacities. If you try to find this kit locally, like in your hardware store, it can be very difficult to get the correct bolts and size.
This part number will get you the whole correct kit you need for your application.Basically what you want to do is go to the part number on our website. Go to the part number RHK, and on that product page it'll come up. You'll see a box that'll say hitch item number. It's usually on the right hand side. Under that, a dropdown box for the hitch manufacturer.
Those are the two things you'll need to get the correct hardware kit. If you look at the hitch on your vehicle, try to find the part number on your hitch. It might be stamped somewhere on the hitch. On this one I happened to pull, it has a sticker on the end right here. It says 75938, so that's actually your part number.
Once you have that, then you just put that in the hitch item number box.Now, the next thing you need is the manufacturer. On this one, it's pretty simple. You'll see a sticker right here that'll say Draw-Tite. Click on that, the dropdown box will bring up your choices of either Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch or Reese. This one, type in the Draw-Tite with this part number and we'll get you out the correct hardware kit you need.Now, if you found both of those items, you're able to complete the order.
You're ready to go. Now, if you have a problem finding either the part number or the manufacturer, the next step is to check our fit guide on our website. Put in your year, make and model of your vehicle and that'll show you what hitches are available, brand and part number for your vehicle. You can usually narrow it down that way. You could also take a picture of your hitch, try to match the design of it like the safety chain openings, what they look like. If you have a picture, you could match it up to the website and that'll get you the correct part numbers also.Now, if you're still not able to find all that information, you can always call one of our customer service reps and they will help you find the correct parts you need. Sorry this is late, but replacement hardware was the full sealed kit rather than a zip lock sandwich bag that arrived in a slashed box with the hitch. Only had to loosen mounts to install the "shouldered" bolt. A single horizontal cut allowed me to retain the splash shield on the 17-22 Kia Niro's driver's side wheel well( which might not show up clearly in photo).
Dealing with etrailer is always efficient and pleasant. Products and service are great. My only gripe is that this hardware replacement kit, which consists of little more than a couple of bolts and a bolt-fishing wire thing, was $57, which even though it saved me a run to the hardware store seems pretty steep.

I needed an installation kit for a Curt hitch. I called e-Trailer with the hitch and truck info and was able to get the necessary parts. The order was processed immediately and shipped out the next morning. Having a tracking number was convenient, allowing me to follow the package through the delivery process. Parts even came sooner than expected.
But most importantly, customer service was pleasant and thorough making sure I was getting what I needed.
Fitment was exact not a generic one fits most. Quick install without difficulty. Would purchase again and would recommend to others.

Not a complaint one a year later. Have checked the bolt torque without any movement. Ill say a few people have asked why two receivers, simple, the oem is part of the truck body assembly. I choose to keep it in place and it causes no problems. Would purchase again.

Not an exact fit for our 2022 Winnebago Travato hitch, some modifications had to be performed, but the job was completed and our hitch is strengthened.

Very satisfied with the hitch reinforcement, we’ve had no problems with sagging.
This item did not work for my 2000 Jeep TJ. The rear lower bumper bolts are 1/2 inch due to the rear OEM tow hook. The kit did not include the correct bolt size. Four half inch bolts were needed for my application. If your TJ did not come with a rear tow hook then the kit may work for you. Customer service from etrailer gets a five star excellent review. They resolved the matter with me without hesitation. Thank you etrailer. Keep up the great work.
Exactly as described. Packaged very well and came with instructions even though it was only a hardware kit. Prompt delivery as it arrived earlier than expected. Quite expensive in my opinion for 8 bolts, 4 washers, 4 nuts, and 4 carriage bolt retainers at $65.
After selling my truck I decided on an SUV and found a trailer hitch would greatly benefit our use for bicycle rack, etc. Although a friend supplied the trailer hitch, it had no hardware. I was so grateful that you could supply me with the proper hardware for the hitch. Much appreciated. Philip
Kit contained exactly what I needed. Local amazon return auction place had two hitches for my van with only one bag of hardware. I ordered this hardware kit and was able to sell the extra hitch. Net cost for my hitch was $0.
The hitch I had purchased from this company had missing hardware - a few 1/2"-13 nuts. I notified the company, and the representative said he would have replacements sent. I received a bag full of hitch-mounting hardware, but it contained no 1/2"-13 nuts. I called again to request the nuts. Pretty sketchy quality control.

I am sorry that you received the wrong hardware with this replacement kit. We personally put together the replacement kits in our warehouse, based off of the original instructions from the manufacturer. It is possible that you received the wrong type of hardware for your hitch and application. Let me get you over to our customer service department for them to get this actually corrected for you.
I watched the on-line video and was able to install hitch by myself in about one hour. I completely removed muffler, and used a small amount of soap to remove/install exhaust system on hangers, that was the hardest part of the install. Looks good on my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek!
See earlier review for shipping damage. Missing fasteners were quickly replaced by etrailer. Life is good!

Worked great!
The first problem was resolved with the missin instructions and bolts. The second issue I have is I paid good mo ey for this receiver and it came scratched up especially where the info sticker with weight rating, very disappointed. I guess I need to find elsewhere to shop trailer products.
Haven't tested if the harness works yet but there was more to it than advertised and their install video doesn't show the full install. I had to do some soldering but I got it all hooked up and my tail lights work good with it in there should be no problem with the trailer
etrailer is always good to deal with. They have quality products that are thoroughly explained. They usually have a video on each product. Plus you can always call for specific questions and answers.
Third time I had to order the hardware kit. This is my fourth Challenger and the dealer takes the hitch off for me but does not take the hardware out of the frame. There are 3 Challengers running around with hardware sliding around in the frame.
My curt receiver was missing the hardware kit. etrailer was very quick to fix the situation and shipped me a new hardware kit. Everything worked as it should.
The replacement hardware pack (the pack came with the hitch has one defective carriage bolt) cam quickly. Great customer service!

Order it on a Monday I order the brackets they're to supposed to be no later than Friday but came 4 days later $[XX] wasn't worth it
the fishing wire only one came with it and it was supposed to be more than one. called to let them know they said it'll be there on Wednesday then I got a notice day later and it said Friday it didn't show up so today is Monday so it should be here today out for delivery but didn't have time to wait for miscrimination delivery days so I managed to get it in
Kept a size loose and then use the one fishing wire to get the other two up front through the chassis but it took longer and it was more challenging to not damage the one fishing wire I had. but other than that it all worked out. thank you
Etrailer was the ONLY company willing to go the extra mile and order a hardawer/install kit for a trailer hitch that was being moved from one vehicle to another (same make and model) Hats off to Vikki in customer service! Etrailer is my go to!!!

A year later and everything is working great.
