The hitch shop wanted $400.00 to get and install the receiver. I ordered the part from you with ease from the website. When it arrived I installed it in less than 30 minutes. I watched the short video on the website and it went right in. All the holes lined up perfectly. The only problem I had was my sockets rolling down the driveway. Great product easy install and great instructions.
Not as versatile as a traditional hitch mount and ball, but much neater if it happens to fit your needs. This fits my Subaru Outback perfectly and places the ball at the ideal height for my trailer. One piece means one less thing to fail.

I purchased the Hitch from Carid, and it was shipped straight from Curt Mfg. The hitch busted holes in the box from floating around (no packaging materials inside), when I bought this 2" ball from etrailer it came in a etrailer box and was surrounded by brown paper to where the ball/bar didn't shift in the box.

Still works great! Curt makes some good products, no issue with the light wiring, ball, or hitch receiver.
The mount has held up. I've been babying mine so no rust and barely any scrapes on it. It's helped me in a few pinches. Overall very satisfied. The real star is Natalie. I remember her from when I bought the thing. That's excellent example of customer follow through. Good on ya.

This hitch has worked perfectly on my Subaru for over a year now. Last summer I pulled my tear drop trailer around the country with no problems and the finish on the hitch still looks like new. I would recommend this hitch to a friend.
This ball was mounted on our 14' Subaru Forester. It is just the right height to pull our TENTRAX trailer and doesn't interfere with the rear hatch. It also stores easily in the spare tire compartment when not in use. Good Purchase !!
Drawbar works as advertised. FWIW, the TOP of the ball to the TOP of the drawbar is 6-5/8". If the ball was round on top (it is flat, as can be seen in the pictures), the distance would be more like 6-3/4". This should make it easier to detemine if this is the hitch for your needs. I had trouble finding this info on the web.
I love love love European style hitches for sports cars. They look right. The only thing I wish is that they had an option for a higher rise, since the Fiesta ST is a pretty low car.
Need to make a 2" hitch version of this

All of the Curt Euro Ball Mounts are Class II ball mounts designed to fit 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receivers. For a ball mount with a similar rise that fits a 2 inch receiver, you would want something like part # C45341 with a hitch ball # A-90. You could also use a hitch reducer sleeve to allow this Euro Ball Mount to fit a 2 inch hitch receiver, such as part # HT02.

Excellent! Customer service was great too!! I'm using this to haul a pop up camper with my Subaru Outback. A regular hitch makes the connection too close to the bumper. This is perfect!!
Product is perfectly as described. I will just have to get a bit higher rise. Also the chrome plating peeled off ball within a 2 mile drive. So product durability will possibly be an issue. It is just a trailer ball but the plating should not be peeling off this soon.
I was told by the sales rep that this hitch would give 3.25" of rise. When I received it I could tell it was too high so I measured it. It's 5.125" from the bottom of the ball to the top of the square shank, and 6.5" from the top of the ball to the top of the square shank. And it's even printed right on the sticker 5 1/8" rise.
Not much to say. Clean and works! (It's too tall for a VW AllTrack pulling a SylvanSport Go, so I ended up buying one with a little bit less raise/height.)
This item was accurately described, and EXACTLY what I needed to complete my trailering needs. Another pleasant etrailer transaction.
Seems to work like it is supposed to. I bought this for my wife's SUV, picking this style just to offset the look apart from the usual. Based on my trailer tongue height, I would have liked a bit more rise, say 5" total, but everything seems to load and unload easy enough.
Good product solid was easy to install tight fit and the paint still holding up after a year.
Good looking tow hitch - well made and powder-coated. I used the same one in 1-7/8" for a number of years and it is still holding up very well.
Works well, perfect height for the MK7 Golf Sportwagen for a standard trailer neck.

You are 100 percent correct! We are working on updating our site with new measurements for this ball mount. The way that we measure rise and d r o p is a little different than Curt does. We list it as the distance from the top of the inside of the hitch opening to the top of the ball whereas Curt will list it from the as the top of the hitch opening to the bottom of the ball. This one we will list as a 6.5-inch rise.
