works well brings the trailer tongue up to level. I have it on an EV so the raddle is annoying, because I just keep on forgetting to buy a anti rattler.

Its still working fine.

This is very sturdy hitch. It is made of solid steel, not tubing. It will be used on my Mazda RX-3 to tow my car dolly to the RV lot where I will swap everything around and the car will end up on the dolly behind my RV.

Hitch has been working well. The Mazda I installed it on is my tow-behind, I use it to pull the car dolly to storage lot &amp also to hold my bike rack. Works perfectly for both uses.

by:

A hard to find size, perfect match for my car and my new trailer! Thanks for prompt and quality responses.

by:

I've had no problems or issues with the hitch. Installing it was fast and easy. It works great.

by:

Does an excellent job, used it twice for small trailers and I can easily store it in the trunk when not in use. Highly recommended.

by:

Due to being upside down under the Saturn, and working on it late at night to get my order in, I ordered the wrong drawbar, again Tammie saved the day, she called me, informed me that the hitch I ordered would not fit, and that she held the order until she got a hold of me, etrailer is a great company

It is perfect, perfect hight

by:

I absolutely love it. It fits on my car no problem. I love that etrailer knows what fits and what won't. I'll definitely be back!

by:

Working great with the Thule EU bike rack (via adapter).
Installed in one evening. The hardest part was to put the power cable under the car from the tail lights to the engine bay.

by:

My car was so low that I couldn’t use this one

I can help you find the ball mount that you need. What I will need to know from you is how high the hitch is from the ground so you would measure from the ground to the top of the receiver. And then I would need to know the how high the coupler is from the ground. [Even ground]. From the ground to the bottom of the coupler. If the hitch height is greater, use a ball mount with a drop. If the coupler height is greater, use a ball mount with a rise. Let me know the measurements and I will see what we have.

by:

I moved from Arkansas to Washington State last year and towed a small UHaul with my 2017 Chevy Trax, which has the new hitch that I purchased from you. Everything worked great and I had no trouble whatsoever.

by:

The hitch ball fit perfectly on the Drawbar 4" Rise that I also ordered from etrailer.com. Thank you for your advice and prompt service. I am attaching the photo again that shows the Drawbar and the hitch ball that I purchased.

by:

Correct rise for my 2012 Mazda 3, and it even fits easily in the spare tire area (upper right corner) so it's completely stowed.

by:

Fast shipping, works like always. My TDI pulls with no problem. etrailer is the bomb!

by:

They did the job!

by:

Was as intended

by:

Looks great, came packed in the larger box, looks very nice in person.

by:

Solid tube, excellent quality! replacement hitch for the used hidden hitch(part#60909 i found for my 96 Honda Civic Ex coupe. Works perfectly, no complaints.

by:

Just a quality hitch. Has been used to pull an 800lb jet ski and trailer with easy for a year now.

by:

Exactly what I need to extend the ball away from the back of my Kia Soul; fits perfectly.

by:

Perfect fit and works well

by:

Fits perfectly around the bumper and gives the tongue high enough elevation for trailer hookup. Excellent product

by:

Very satisfied. No problems with ordering or shipping. Dimensions perfect for car and trailer.

by:

Just what I needed and at a reasonable price. Thanks Paul and etrailer. High quality product and service you can trust. I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend your company to others.

  • Will Sportframe Drawbar # 3594 Fit Kubata RTV Receiver
I pulled a Sportframe Drawbar, part # 3594, from our warehouse and took a measurement for you. As the attached photo shows the distance from the end of the shank that inserts in the receiver on your Kubata RTV to the center of the hitch pin hole is 1-1/2 inches. This drawbar is designed to fit 1-1/4 inch receivers. You mentioned that you have 2 inches before it hits the axle. The best way to see if this will work is to take a ruler and insert it in the receiver on your RTV. If you have...

  • Does Suspension Sag Factor When Picking Out Correct Rise/Drop Ball Mount
Sounds like you are asking about how to pick out a ball mount that allows the trailer to sit as level as possible. Ideally you go with the rise/drop that allows the trailer to sit totally level with it loaded. Since significant sag isn't always present it may not have been addressed directly enough in our help article on the subject. But when I recommend a ball mount for someone I typically will recommend going with the drop that's a little higher than measured for this reason. But suspension...

  • Compatability of Bike Rack Part # 63120 and Draw-Tite Class 1 Hitch part # 24807
The hitch you have, Draw-Tite part # 24807 is a Class 1 hitch. There are two different classes of 1-1/4 inch hitches, Class 1 and 2. Class 2 drawbars and bike racks will not fit Class 1 hitches. Class 1 hitches have a lower rating than Class 2 and to prevent people from accidentally exceeding capacities the manufacturers make it so that heavier Class 2 accessories are too long to be used in Class 1 hitches. But you can still use Class 1 accessories in Class 2 hitches. The bike rack you...

Thanks for the measurements you gave. To determine drop needed you need to measure from the top of the hitch opening to the ground and from the bottom of the coupler lip to the ground. • How to Pick Out Correct Ball Mount for 2015 Ford F-150
I attached an FAQ that details how to pick out the correct ball mount. Picking out the correct ball mount will allow your trailer to sit as level as possible. Next, you will measure the coupler height from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler when the trailer is on level ground. Next, you will need to compute the difference. • Which is Correct Ball Mount for 1997 Chevrolet Lumina w/ Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 24628
The recommended ball mount to use on a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina with the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 24628 (DISCONGTINUED) is the Draw-Tite Ball Mount, part # 3592. The ball mount that you referenced, part # 3594 has too much of a rise and is not recommended by Draw-Tite to be used on the Chevrolet Lumina. With Class I and II hitches, the ball mount recommended by the hitch manufacturer must be used, not doing so will void the hitch warranty. I have linked an FAQ on hitch ball mounts.

  • Why do Some Ball Mounts Have a Drop and Rise and Others Only have a Rise
Some ball mounts, generally Class I and Class II ball mounts, are designed by the manufacturer for use in the rise position only. These ball mount designs are intended for use with vehicles that require a rise only and would be too low to the ground to ever need a lower ball mount. • Why Are Hitch Adapters for 1-1/4 inch Hitch Not to Be Towed With
Hitch adapters create quite a bit of leverage and movement in the hitches they are installed in. Since 1-1/4 inch hitches are very low in capacity already it's not a good idea to use an adapter like the part # HTAD to tow with. You'd just need to get a 1-1/4 inch ball mount to fit the hitch and there'd be no need for an adapter like the # 3594.
