Note: Some axles rated at 2,000 lbs require a different seal and bearings. Be sure that the bearings in the hub being replaced have L44649 stamped on them. If the bearings have L44643 stamped on them, use #34822BX trailer hub.
The grease cap on this hub is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

All parts were spot on!
Need to put cotter pins in the kit
Rebuilding my boat trailer. So far have purchased a Dexter axle and hubs, and new springs from E-Trailer. Everything has exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with their products and would recommend their products to my friends.
This is my second hub(for the other side) first side is still going strong after a couple years.
Brand new to camping, a little nervous for a first time long trip. Found the hub assembly at a very good price and bought it for just-in-case. A very good take along investment and takes almost no space. Quality and completeness just like the original.

I am happy to tell you I have not needed to use the hub. I purchased it as a spare for a camping trailer I own. I keep the hub in the trailer in case I have a problem on a trip. It is good quality, I hope to not need it, but I am happy I have it.

I couldnt be happier. The trailer is not something you should have to worry about...it should just follow the van down the road. With the replacement of the hubs, it does so without giving it a second thought. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing!
Upgraded my axle on 1973 Elgin trailer. The old axle used 2.75 shorty hubs that are hard to locate bearings and seals for. Once i installed the new axle, the Hubs from Etrailer fit like a glove right out of the box. No frustration and no worries. Something that could be said of the old set up. Time to go Fishing.
The hub assembly worked out great, the fast delivery saved my vacation at that time! The bearing kit I have not used yet, I purchased as a spare.. Not sure what else you offer. forward your web site info..

I ordered hub and bearing parts for my trailer not knowing what I was doing. They got everything by my description. I ran into a problem getting the old parts off so it's not yet complete. Etrailer did it again and i got it fast. Thank you Etrailer for the great service.
I was completely impressed with all the customer service I received. I don't recall ever having the hard work you folks did. I will make future orders with you..But one thing..the caps that go on the hub we're a nightmare...not sure what the deal was but I finally got them on. But more important..thank you very much for customer service.
Nice new hubs for my boat trailer. My only concern is using boxing tape instead of Saran wrap to hold everything together with the hubs. I had to clean the adhesive off the hubs before I could paint them. Other than that, excellent!
