The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

I need to return those pieces since they turned out to be too small for the axle of my trailer, how do I send them?
The wheel bearings on my utility trailer gave out and the local Les Schwab wanted an arm and a leg to replace them. They also noted the tires were at the local tread limit and needed to be replaced. So I went searching for lower cost alternatives.
I found etrailer.com on a google search and was impressed by their selection, low pricing and expert help on their website. I ended up ordering two Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C and two Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized from etrailer, and also a set of Reese Towpower 74177 Wheel Bearing Protectors from Amazon. My total cost was LESS THAN the price Les Swhwab quoted me for bearing replacements for the two wheels.
They are all on my trailer and and look great. I am really impressed by the quality of parts from etrailer and also their great pricing. Give them a try!

Tires and wheels are holding up well, very satisfied with my purchase. Will buy again from eTrailer and also recommend to my friends.
I bought an older used boat and trailer. Checked the hun seals which had bee leainfg and saw some pitting on bearings. Bougth these new hubs and bearings. Everything fit perfectly and I we done in less than a hour. thankyou etrailer for coming through for me AGAIN!
This order unfortunately did not fit my application for a tandem jetski trailer.
First and foremost, etrailer is the sh*t. Not only do they have awesome customer service and helpful info, but they also have an awesome tracking system. And the best of all, the BEST prices and deals. I couldn't find hub deals this cheap anywhere and ontop of that the quality is awesome and their galvanized. Etrailer is the best.

I really havent had much use out of them yet but did get everything put on without any problems. Appreciate your concern.

I purchased 2 galvanized wheels and 2 galvanized hubs. The box they shipped the items in was sealed well with staples and was robust, but the items weren't separate well at all. Whomever packaged the order placed a few pieces of packing paper inside. All the items were tossed around and dinged up. The threaded wheel lugs on the hub were dented and needed to be filed and thread chased. Other than that, the products seem nice, but time will tell.
Do NOT be in a rush to receive the correct product. I ordered this hub on 12-2-2021. Received the order on 12-7-2021, not too bad. However, the hub I received was a 4 bolt and not a 5 on 4 1/2. Called etrailer, sent them pics to prove and verify I received wrong item. I was told to send wrong one back with a prepaid shipping label. Today (12-17-2021) the correct one (I hope) arrived. Took so long to receive it that I used a different hub for now. Hopefully when I use this one it works properly. 15 days from order date to receive what appears to be the correct item. Not acceptable in opinion.
Price is great. Haven’t mounted yet but all parts look fine. Does NOT come with cotter pin. Extremely fast delivery, 1 day early. So much easier to buy the entire hub than beat the races out of the old hubs and seat new ones.

I order a cast hub the first of the week , two days later a reply was sent, received your order waiting for a shipment to come from Dexter. E-trailer rep said they had a galvanized hub the correct size in stock they could sent right away if I preferred. I said to send the AKIHUB-545-2-G-1K hub. Received in three days even with Covid 19 problem we have today. Good communications, hub fit great.

So, I've have a lot of lesson learnt in the rebuilding of my Boston Whaler trailer, most importantly, measure twice and order once, not the other way around! etrailer has been great at helping me get the correct parts for the project. Finally finished - Many thanks!
Everything needed to replace a hub except the grease and a new cotter pin. High quality parts and everything went together flawlessly. I was looking at a Dexter hub, but they were out of stock. The friendly sales assistant on the phone suggested this one and the price was half as much to boot! Sold! Fast shipping, friendly service.
