These bearing kits are just the thing for rebuilding wheel hub and drums. As long as you know your axle rating, ordering is easy. Made with excellent quality materials and workmanship, Installation was straight forward. ALWAYS use high temperature high pressure WHEEL BEARING GREASE. My bearing replacement was caused by a friend doing me a favor and greasing my hubs. Unfortunately for me, he used chassis grease and the bearings failed in a very short time. I saw slight smoke coming from my trailer hub and noticed a slight wobble in one wheel. On inspection I saw the problem. Always use your mirrors and watch your trailer. I had a VERY expensive vehicle on board.

USPS tracking site listed for 6 days that they had ticket prepared and were awaiting product from shipper. When I called etrailer about this the CSR said, of course it has been shipped, and blamed USPS for having a bad history of not scanning packages and quickly developed an attitude and started quoting you policy. I'm not sure who the guilty party is but I know who had a bad attitude. He should know people have a lot of options where to spend their money! etrailer probably won't be my first stop when shopping in the future.

by:

The bearing was delayed in shipment. I believe a label was created but it wasn't shipped. I inquired about it, and got a lame answer about a crinkled label, but when I checked the next day I could track the shipment from the facility. But to top it off, when I received it, the package had been ripped open and all I ended up with was an envelope. You should really try to be better.

I definitely agree that parts of our shipping process could be improved on. I will make sure our customer service team reaches out to you about this.

Ordered 2 new complete bearing kits with a couple extra inner seals. Arrived 2 days early! Price was better than any auto shop. Got 2 complete sets for same price as just one set of bearings and races, no seal included ( from NAPA)

by:

these were exactly what i needed to maintain my trailer, and the order came very fast.

working perfectly

by:

Etrailer is very knowledged in their work. They was able to answer all my questions with a quick response time. The shipment was also very fast. I highly recommend this company for all your RV needs.

by:

I bought the bearing kit as a spare and haven't used it yet but I think etrailer is an excellent resource with fair prices. There is a lot of helpful information on their site.

by:

They were exactly what the staff at eTrailer said I needed. They have been functioning just fine, would highly recommend.

by:

Purchased travel trailer wheel bearings and seals
For 10k overhaul. Easier and cheaper to repack and replace vs. cleaning and repacking. Seals will be destroyed anyway while repacking

by:

Overall experience with Paula with my over the phone ordering experience was fantastic. Unfortunately, the parts would not work. Only one of the bearings and race in the kit fit but the rest was unusable in my application.

by:

Worked pretty well. It is easy to get the bearing race started crooked if you don’t go easy when you first start driving it in. So there is a very slight learning curve, but once you figure that out, it works pretty good.

by:

Company needs to have a way of estimating shipping time that is realistic. My order was five days after their estimate. I had to go and buy another set of bearings somewhere else as I needed them before the day they arrived. If I would have known the correct shipping date, I would not have ordered them. All things equal, the service and the quality from previous orders has been good.

by:

Never had problems etrailier bearings and seals , had purchased several sets through the years no problems until last set after installation and several trips hubs were getting hot so decided to pull the wheels to see what was going on. The seal rubber came loose from the metal seal ring over 50% on 1 wheel and allowed water intrusion did not see anything I could detect on the other wheel but had water inside hub wasn’t going to take a chance replacing both. No trouble since. Did not call because I felt they would tell me haven’t had any other problems like must have damaged seals on installation

by:

Very happy with the BK2-100 bearing kits I ordered to do all 4 wheels of my recently purchased travel trailer that had one bad bearing.I figured I’d do them all for my piece of mind moving forward. Only suggestion would be to wrap the seals separately in the box instead of leaving them to move around with bearings and races.Probably wrap races separately too. Why take the risk of them getting damaged by putting them all together in one box without protecting them? Thanks,

by:

Etrailer kept me well informed of the progress of my order and the quality of parts ordered where as described.

by:

Hub looks good. I wanted to try a stainless hub after owning a regular galvanized one. It is a Kodiak brand so it has a good reputation.
I also wanted to switch to a separate stainless disk.
The bearing kit is made in China so I am a bit concerned but will have to wait and see if it holds up.
Only an average rating as I will have to see if it holds up over time.

by:

Great place for hard to find parts. Quick shipping and great customer service!

No issues in over a year of running these. Converted my boat trailer over from Vault hubs to normal grease hubs. No longer worried about if the bearings are greased or not!

by:

I entered my vehicle (it pulled up my camper including the length, 2017 crossroads cruiser aire 25RL) and I ordered 2 bearing kit for my boat and 4 for my travel trailer. The boat was good because I had the bearing numbers for it but the trailer was wrong because I trusted the one from the etrailer site. When I called to exchange them, the guy said they don’t have that on their site and I would have to pay for extra shipping to return the wrong ones and more shipping to send me the right ones. So what should have been around $15 shipping I’m now paying $48. I doubt I’ll be doing business with them again. Still waiting on the correct ones to get here.

When it comes to bearings you do want to make sure you are matching the bearing numbers both the inner and the outer bearing. I will have our Customer Service team review and contact you.

by:

Bearing and seal kit are a great quality purchase, they fit perfectly and have been running trouble free for a year now. Will definitely use this kit again when it is time to replace the bearings in my utility trailer or boat trailer.
I recommend using the Buddy Bearing grease hub with this Bearing & Seal pack.

This product has proven I made the best choice to keep my utility trailer rolling trouble free.

by:

Worked just fine. The hubs I ordered already had races installed, so I didn't use the ones in the kit. Didn't rate 5 stars because I don't know what qualifies as 5 star bearings.

by:

Product came as described with on time, fast delivery. I've found no issues with my etrailer orders in the past as well.

by:

Very pleased with these items! Bearings, races, and seals as a kit is the way to go, no second-guessing part numbers. etrailer.com is now on my 'favorites' list.

by:

Perfect replacement for my 20 year old bearings. The hardest part was getting the old races out but the video from etrailer made that easier. I purchased the installation tool so replacing the races was easy, I highly recommend getting the installation tool.

It is a year later and absolutely no problems from the bearings and seals on my utility trailer rebuild. I have put a lot of miles on them since Hurricane Michael hauling equipment and debris. Thats all you can ask from good bearings and seals.

by:

I found that the travel trailer OEM tail lights were blocked by the cargo carrier. I installed these light as an extension of the OEM tail light. These lights enhanced the OEM lights. Now I worry a bit less about the vehicles behind me.

by:

All parts showed up timely and were a perfect match. etrailer once again hits the mark!

  • Replacement Bearing Kit for a 2015 Karavan Boat Trailer with 2,652 lb Capacity
It sounds like you either have a 1" BT8 spindle or a tapered #84 spindle on your Karavan trailer so you'll need one of the following kits: - Bearing Kit for 1" BT8 Spindle # BK1-100 - Bearing Kit for #84 Spindle # BK2-100 I recommend looking at the bearings on your trailer and comparing that to what comes in these kits prior to purchasing just to make sure everything will match up.

  • Replacement Bearings for a 1982 Shoreline Trailer
I do have an option for you but I cannot give you exact bearing numbers for your trailer unless provided with spindle measurements or the trailer's VIN (if the manufacturer is still in business). I can however tell you that the two most common axles capacities that a 5 on 4-1/2" hub and 13" diameter wheels are used with is 2,000 lbs and 3,500 lbs. The correct replacement bearing kits for these axles are most likely part # BK1-100 for 2,000 lb axles or part # BK2-100 for 3,500 lb axles....

If it uses 2,000-2,200 lb axles then you'll need the Bearing Kit part # BK1-100 but if it uses 3,500 lb axles then you'll need the Bearing Kit part # BK2-100. • How To Find Correct Bearing Kit for a Bass Tracker Trailer
If the axle tag on the trailer does not include the axle capacity then you'll have to pull the hubs and either measure the bearings and seals or record their part numbers. The most common bearing combo is a L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) and a L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) which uses a 10-19 (inner diameter: 1.719") grease seal. This would indicate a 3,500 lb axle and in which case you'd need the Bearing Kit part # BK2-100. I have attached a help article to assist.
