A dimensional diagram shows the bracket dimensions in inches of an ARK XO trailer jack.

A close up image shows the ARK XO Series jack's Max Moving Height

Note: Do not use this jack to move your trailer if it's extended past this "max moving height" line.

Designed in the Outback for all-terrain use, this rugged jack is equipped to handle just about anything, from moving your boat trailer to accompanying you on off-roading adventures. You'll appreciate the smooth operation and adjustability for everyday use just as much as you'll enjoy the special features designed for extreme use. From jobsites to campsites, the Ark Xtreme trailer tongue jack will work for you.

Easily Move Your Trailer over Any Terrain

Ark Jack All Terrain

Dual steel wheels with rubber tires provide increased surface area for smooth, steady travel. The rubber tires can cruise over rocks without breaking or getting flat spots, and the tread helps prevent sliding in wet conditions. The overall strength and durability of these wheels also keep them from stalling in sand or light mud.

Ark Jack Dual Wheels

Sealed bearings act as bushings to hold the wheels in line on the cross shaft. This is an improvement over traditional plastic jack wheels, which often have just a bolt going through them, providing very little stability and causing the wheels to wobble, lock up, and drag over time.

Ark Jack Sturdy Steel Body

The durable design of this jack lets you take your trailer off-road, over rough terrain, and through various climates. The sturdy steel, square body provides increased side-load capacity and superior strength, and limits play between the tubes. And the corrosion- and rust-resistant zinc finish offers a 600-hour salt spray rating to withstand wet or rainy conditions. The built-in grease zerk lets you lubricate the internal screw when necessary for continued smooth operation over time.

Safe, Easy, Out-of-the-Way Positioning for Travel

Ark Jack Magnetic Handle

A sturdy magnet is built into the jack's easy-to-grip crank handle for secure attachment of the jack crank. The handle detaches easily to store away and prevent hang-ups while traveling, yet it's strong enough to stay put while you're cranking the jack up and down.

The removable handle might also deter would-be trailer thieves. After all, who wants to take a trailer if they can't get the jack to work?

Ark Jack Stowed Along Trailer

The convenient, side-mounted swivel pin has an easy-to-grip handle, making it fast and simple to swing the jack down for use or up alongside your trailer tongue for travel.

Ark Jack Yoke Lock

The yoke latch at the bottom of the jack offers 5 positions to hold the wheels in place. This allows you to tailor the configuration of the stowed jack to suit your needs. So if you have anything mounted on your trailer tongue that the wheels might hit if they're positioned upright, you can lock them in place facing down instead. If you're off-roading and traveling through rough terrain where you might have issues with ground clearance, just lock them upright. This locking feature also keeps the wheels from swinging around while you drive, which will help to ensure that the bearings don't wear out prematurely.

Fast, Easy Setup with Minimal Cranking

Ark Jack Spring Release Handle

Once you've arrived at your destination, setting up is a breeze thanks to the quick-release jack tube on the Ark Extreme jack. Just tug the spring-loaded handle to quickly drop the jack tube to your desired height. This handle allows you to set the jack in 1 of 3 positions. Once you have it as close to the ground as it will go, just rotate the crank handle on the front of the jack to fine-tune the height.

Having the ability to drop the jack tube in this manner means that you won't need a drop leg or space fillers like blocks or bricks. And far less cranking is needed to get the jack into position, which will you save you both time and effort.

When you're ready to pack up and hit the road again, hitch the trailer back up to your vehicle, retract the jack's inner tube using the crank, and reposition the jack back alongside your trailer tongue.

How to Determine the Lift Capacity You Need in a Jack

A trailer jack lifts your trailer high enough at the tongue to allow you to couple it with your vehicle. Usually, your tongue weight is about 10-15% of your gross trailer weight (GTW). For example, a 10,000-lb trailer has a tongue weight of 1,000 lbs to 1,500 lbs. To raise the tongue of a trailer this size, you'd need a jack that can handle a static load of no less than 1,500 lbs. And, yes, it's okay to have a jack with a weight rating that is higher than your trailer's tongue weight. In fact, a jack with a higher capacity should operate more efficiently, allowing you to spend less time cranking and more time camping.

Dual wheels roll easily, even on a gravelly surface. Wide range of lift heights adjusts to various terrains. Download the installation instructions to sort out the metric manufacturing dimensions versus inch measurements of your trailer frame. Worked great on the 2.5" wide, 4" high frame of my US made, bolt together, aluminum frame trailer kit. Worth every penny.

This trailer jack is truly "extreme". I was looking for an over-built one that I could count on to take some abuse. This one is perfect. The pins have extra strong springs. The back plate is extra thick. Even though I didn't need to use them, the bolts and brackets it came with are extra beefy. The wheels are extra strong. Basically everything about this jack is completely [awesome]!

My favorite feature is the removable magnetic crank handle. It clicks into place with authority and stows in my tongue box. Also, it looks great too. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat...only thing I'd do different is get it sooner. I put up with the wimpy OEM trailer jack far too long.

This trailer jack has earned its keep this year. Its been worth every penny. I find my self moving my lil camper around wout hooking it up because of this jack. It rolls much better on my driveway and on gravel, especially when you have to change directions. My advice: GET THIS ONE, but choose the longer one. Ive needed a little more height for leveling a couple of times.

by:

Just what I was looking for. A great heavy duty jack with wheels that roll and swivel like butter. My dual Sea-Doo trailer is heavy with both big skis on it. The Xtreme jack with dual ball bearing wheels and slick swiveling caster are what I purchased the unit for. They make it a whole lot easier pushing the trailer in and out of the shop. Remember, you get what you pay for. This trailer jack will not disappoint.

by:

Jack works exactly as advertised and perfect fit for my unique application. Etrailer chat service was instrumental in this successful purchase. Etrailer installation video also very useful.

This jack continues to work awesome.

by:

Tremendous! This was a great upgrade to the OEM wheel jack. Removing the old one and installing this one by myself took maybe 90 minutes. It took a combination wrench, a socket wrench and a torque wrench.

by:

Well made & heavy-duty with plenty of adjustment. Installed on my 37 ton Rugged Split log splitter & it is a perfect match up. Very pleased with my purchase.

by:

First, ordering was easy, shipping was fast - super impressed by that. Now, for the jack... what a difference from what the local chains offer. This jack (the 350 version) is compact but built like a tank. Love the engineering. More expensive than the chain store stuff but worth every penny and then some.

by:

The XO trailer jack is awesome! Wish I had found it before I injured my back trying to disconnect & “right” the original jack on my micro camper on a very uneven, rough site. The adjustability of the jack is unparalleled to any I have used. The dual wheels allowed me to roll my camper out of the garage, onto a gravel driveway with ease (and I am a “senior” female! I have since gotten a new camper and wish I had the XO on it!

Jenny

Unfortunately, as I said in my initial review, I no longer have camper that I installed the XO on. When I have the money, I plan to put one on my new camper. Best trailer jack Ive ever had!

by:

I haven't even mounted the trailer jack yet but the attention to detail, the component quality, the plethora of features--all confidence building points. My driveway is gravel and rock ballast so I am VERY confident this product is the last of its kind I will have to buy! The Aussies build some great kit!

by:

This trailer jack travels very well. It pivots easily and the dual wheels lend stability and ease of maneuvering. Mine arrived intact with all assembly parts. The hex bolts unfortunately for my installation were too short, as other reviews have noted. A trip to the local hardware store and another $15 investment in 4 metric bolts 3/4" longer than those included completed the installation. Installed on a 17' galvanized boat trailer.

by:

Huge, huge improvement over the previous economy trailer jack that came with my teardrop trailer. This item is extremely well built. It is also very tuneable as far as its mounting options, so even with a relatively small mounting area available, I was able to find a way to have it fold up cleanly and tightly when in transit. I consider maybe replacing the supplied C-channel brackets and bolts with U-bolts, but the supplied HW is robust and doesn't look too bad after trimming the C-channels to the correct length. I highly recommend the quality of this item, and etrailer has proven to be a tremendous resource as well.

by:

This trailer jack was just what we needed to replace the factory installed jack on our sport utility trailer. We tow our trailer behind our RV for monthly camping trips and we frequently need to disconnect the trailer and manually move it to a spot on our campsite. Moving the trailer manually on grass or gravel was almost impossible with the factory installed jack. After installing this new jack, we can easily move the trailer where needed over any type of surface. We also like the 3 height settings that reduce the amount of cranking and the removeable hand crank. This is a great jack!

by:

Wow, it amazingly well made.

by:

This is, by far, the best quality jack I have ever seen! This one should last a lifetime! Thank you!

Perry

10/3/2022

So far, so good! It allows for me to easily roll the trailer around. The only issue I have is the crank to raiselower ratio. It takes a lot turns to move it a small amount. Overall, superior product!

by:

Shipment was quick

by:

Still loving this, very solid, easy to move arms and flip leg down but secure when up. makes turning my trailer easier than with original from manufacturer.

by:

This has worked perfectly for me. I use it on my micro camping trailer so I can swing it around by hand. So much nicer for getting it into the perfect position in my garage or on site for camping. The double wheels make it so it won't groove into the dirt too much.

by:

The Jack was received in a box well packed. However, the alignment pin used to fix the wheel, when lifted to the highest point, was loosely laying in the box. This pin looks like it was pressed and welded but was obviously broken. Since I needed to get underway asap, I used a screw and locknut to replace the pin and this has worked. Also, after just a couple of months, the rotational effort has grown. Meaning, it is hard to turn the wheel.
Besides these annoyances, the functionality seems to work ok.
Not sure if I would buy this product again or not.

by:

It’s a very nice Jack. The only thing that could be improved is the bearings coming already mounted in the wheels. I had no issue installing them but the average person may have an issue. Works great

Bob

10/13/2022

Great works for what I need it for

by:

Great quality. Multiple position options for installing. This items is honestly a gamechanger for the trailer I put it on that did not have a wheel.

by:

Love the features of this jack, but there a few issues with it. The biggest problem is that the nut on bottom that holds the wheel assembly onto the jack comes loose all the time. If you try to tighten more, it will not rotate. I had to add a bearing/washer assembly from McMaster and a ton of grease to make it more useable. This really needs a king nut and somewhere to store the handle.

by:

Check online for accurate measurements. The measurements provided on the etrailer site are not accurate in many cases for the Ark Jacks. I went over the measurements in detail with etrailer Customer Support prior to ordering and specifically went over the tongue width - which is the primary measurement you need as the mounting screws go horizontally. They confirmed the mounting hardware would work. If you have a 3" tongue, the provided screws will NOT work. When I contacted etrailer Customer Support, they say just says go to the Hardware Store.

Very nicely built and works super well. My only gripe was that it is just a bit on the pricey side. But I guess you get what you pay for.

by:

Very good product at a very good price; delivered quickly !

by:

Everything the ad and the nice Reps say about it is true, so that's good. Out here in the middle of the Mojave Desert mounted on my trailer it gets a good workout when exposed to high (65+ mph) winds & blowing dirt, just sitting there.
The blowing sand jams all of the mechanisms; there isn't really any lubricant that can prevent that.
The magnet-mounted crank handle hasn't rattled off yet on the road, which is spectacular. However, if it gets trailered along a road where the washboard puts the hitch handle into a vibration I would expect the handle to fall off.
The manufacturer needs to drill the holes undersize for the pivot release and the raise/ lower release levers then ream the holes to size for a bushing instead of slopping them through oversize machine-punched holes. The aforementioned blowing dirt jams all the pivots.
I suppose if you only use it where there are peat bogs and glaciers this wouldn't be a concern. I bought the most expensive jack etrailer had under the theory that it'd be the easiest to use. I'd pay another $100 if they would make all the pivot points proper instead of what it is.

Hey Kevin, so unfortunately Ark does not make a drill adapter for the Xtreme Off-Road Swing-Up Trailer Jacks like your # ORJW350D. The only option would be to have something fabricated to fit, in which case the socket would need to be shaped something like the picture below with two flats on either side of a circle.
