The external gearbox is easily accessible, and the zinc-finished sidewind handle arm provides a sleek look.I modified spare tire location (needed more tongue weight), so replaced top mount crank jack with side wind version. Shipping speed was upgraded sans asking and received item just before my next trip. Installed in 5 minutes and jack is much more ergonomic than original. Whenever I need anything trailer or pick up truck related, I don't even bother shopping around, for etrailer pretty much has everything! Customer service is outstanding even with returns or replacements. Completely satisfied with product and service.

Existing job site trailer jack broke Thursday. Menards, Home Depot, Northern tool, Mill didn't have the needed style in stock. Ordered it up and got here on Saturday. Perfect fit and higher weight rating than previous jack. Cranks smooth.

The TJA-5000S-B jack I ordered was exactly what I needed. It was easy to install. The photos show the old jack and the new jack that I needed so that I could mount 2 bikes on front of my Forrest River A-frame camping trailer.
I've had this installed on my utility trailer for about a year now. It works great. I've had some pretty big loads in it and have had no issues raising and lowering it with this jack.
The replacement tongue jack fit perfectly (hole alignment) and the movement is back to the way the original jack worked when brand new. Haven't used it in its full range yet, but so far looks promising. Just a little concerned about the top cover of the jack which appears that it would let rain water into the gear box. I applied a quart size zip lock bag which should keep the rain out.
Installed easy and has been working flawlessly. Had next day delivery.
A long search for an American made jack led me to etrailer.com. Turns out the jack was made in China. Disappointed!!

Simple, strong, and reliable
Package came very quick. Went right on to my trailer. The foot that "matched" the jack I bought did not work. Had to run to a local store and get one that would.
Works as advertised. Definitely a great price on this jack.. I use it daily on a 20ft trailer.. lets see how long it last me..
Product came on time, as advertised. Had a hard time believing the low price!! My old jack was so damaged I had to persuade it off with hammer and chisel, but then this jack went on in minutes. Functions smoothly. Couldn't be happier. etrailer has all my future trailer business. Five Stars.
Great product
Works as intended. I have it on a small 20ft camper that weighs about 4k Lbs. I recommend adding grease and an adjustable bottom with a quick release pin.

1 year later still working. No problems.
Jack works fine, but arrived with several dings and chips in paint. I realize it will probably get that way eventually anyway, but would expect it to arrive looking new.

VERY PROMPT SERVICE
It's decent jack for the money and it gets the job done. Fit and Finish is okay. What I don't like - the crank should be reversible. Sometimes the crank to the rear is much better. When you stand on the drivers side (which you almost always do) it's awkward. The crank is vulnerable to damage from the vehicle backing up and tailgate up/down motion. I tried to reverse but the design is asymmetric - so No Go. Dummies.., it would be so simple at no additional cost. Does Any Manufacturer Actually Use What They Make???

This jack has the standard mounting plate with 3 bolt holes that are evenly spaced apart. Therefore you can turn it around to face the sides but unfortunately the design does not allow the jack to face rearwards.
I bought this for a basketball goal replacement and it worked out GREAT!! It raises the backboard with ease, and my 8 year old daughter loves it. It shipped out faster than I was expecting, and it arrived in just a few days. Awesome job towards Etrailer!!!!!!

This a-frame jack is well made and much better than the original jack which was on my trailer.
This is a heavy duty front crank jack. I recently purchased a large trailer tongue box for a Big Tex 6x10 drop ramp trailer. The trailer has a top wind jack that now hits the box. I purchased this new front wind jack and it will bolt directly into the trailer mounts. The foot pad and pin will move from my old trailer jack to this one. The jack seems to be made of high quality and I am very pleased with it.

Still working fine. Smooth and easy operation. I seriously doubt that I’ll have any issues with the side wind trailer jack.
