Works wonderfully. Keeps the trailer perfectly horizontal behind my Yukon.
Heavier than expected. Have a little trailer so this is overkill. Rated for 5000 lbs. You will pull your truck apart before hurting this hitch.

I ordered the Curt Ball Mount w/6"rise, 8" drop as I had a special need as my van had a lower hitch attachment than my full side truck. The Ball mount provided the exact clearance that I needed to tow as I was able to use the 6" rise side to raise the attachment point on my van. Very happy with my purchase.
My Dodge Ram 2500 has a 4 inch lift. This required your hitch. It really worked great pulling my stock 28ft trailer
just the right amount of drop to level out the truck to trailer. ram 2500 pickups set high in the back it works perfect
I purchased a break controller, drop ball mount and a 2 5/16 ball and I'm very pleased with all items. Delivery was very fast and prices were great. I will use etrailer.com again.
Very sturdy product but hole for the ball was drilled off center - shifted 1/16" to the side. etrailer kindly replaced the original after seeing a picture showing the fault.
This drawbar arrived very quickly and well packaged. The 6" rise was perfect for my use, and was very well constructed. I use a Gravely JSV to pull wood chippers, log splitters, etc., around my acreage and the rise allows the equipment to pull level. I have purchased from etrailor.com a number of times and have always been pleased with the service!
Exactly what we needed. We transitioned from a Toyota Tacoma to a Chevrolet Suburban. Etrailer had the hitch with an eight inch drop. Good welds, excellent powder coat finish make for a very nice product.

This is a heavy duty ball mount and it seems to be well made. I will learn more as I tow my 3,000 pound motorboat.
