Ball Mount Recommendation for EcoHitch Installed on 2019 Tesla Model 3 Towing 18 inch Tall Trailer
Question:
What hitch ball mount should I get for a US standard 18inch top of ball height to go with the ecohitch

Expert Reply:
When we installed the EcoHitch part # EH84GR on a 2018 Tesla Model 3 just like your 2019 model we found that the top of the hitch opening measures 9-3/4 inches from the ground. So to tow a trailer with an 18 inch coupler height measured at the top of the ball you'd want a rise of right at 6 inches since the standard place to measure is the bottom of the coupler lip.
For that we have the Curt ball mount part # C45090 which would work perfectly for this. For a hitch ball then you'd want the part # A-90 for a 2 inch ball or part # C40002 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
