Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Replacement Power Control Box for your Thomas Payne Seismic Recliners and Sofas. So something happened to that original wiring, maybe it got chewed through by the dog or something else, or got busted or broken. This is a direct replacement from Thomas Payne to make sure that you can have all those functions that you've come to love from your Thomas Payne sofas and recliners.Let's take a closer look, make sure it is a fit for you. We'll have the connections here and our wiring bundle to plug everything in. Should just replace that C01-style control box and all the wires come already connected, so there's a little sort of harness here that comes in there.
But it's already plugged in, so you don't have to worry about plugging that in, and then you just have to make those connections with the rest of your wires on your sofa or recliner to make sure that everything works again. So this should replace that and get you working again if anything was happening with the electrical that wasn't working anymore. So that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the Replacement Power Control Box. Replaces the power control box for your Thomas Payne Seismic recliner or sofa.It works as advertised. I first replaced the cup holder and when that didn't fix the problem etrailer was nice enough to take it back. There are only three parts in the system and the power control box was the most difficult to get to so it was the last thing I tried. Thankfully, the new part fixed the problem and all is well. Sorry, no photos since the part is now buried in the inside of the chair that it controls.
Just what I needed! The control box worked perfectly in my Grand Design Solitude with the Thomas Payne power recliners.

Replacement part worked!
Service was excellent. I read sone reviews and I also got some valuable advice for our recliners that are not opening or working at all. Lead me to believe we were sneezing a new control box. My husband installed the control box easily and everything is working except the heater. Maybe one of the connections not plugged in or sone sort of other issue. Will research a bit further to see. Thank you for the exceptional service, speedy delivery, and valuable information.
This was the first time I have dealt with etrailer. I can guarantee you it won't be the last time! Christina was awesome. She had all the info on hand that I needed to order the Power Control box but was also very professional and friendly. She is what made the entire experience very pleasant. She also kept me informed as to the progress of the shipment all the way to when it was delivered. I just wish there were more than 5 stars I could give her and etrailer! As I said, I will be back!!

The power control box plugged in and has been working great since! When I need parts, this is where I go!
Not an exact replacement but close enough to work. If you need the controller for reclining, massage, and heat this is the correct controller.
Excellent service, love the tracking info provided. Items fit perfectly and operated great. Will use etrailer in the future for sure!
Controller for my Thomas Payne recliner arrived on time, was easy to install, and works great. Problem is now I can’t keep my wife out of my side of the recliner so guess I need to order another controller for her side of the recliner.

While I haven’t had a chance to install my replacement part I have to say that the customer support from Ashley was fabulous. She called and emailed me several times while trying to track down part numbers from the manufacturer and make sure I got the correct control box shipped to me. It’s refreshing when someone takes ownership and helps you unlike so many city or gov agencies today.
The controller replacement fixed a recliner that would only go down. The up button would cause a relay to “click” but it wouldn’t supply power to the motor. The harness has many connectors but they are tie wrapped in groups that make it easy to figure out where they go. One small issue is the input power cable is a foot shorter than the original. So the power supply box and cord won’t reach as far to get to an outlet.

While I wasn’t happy having to replace a Thomas Payne chair controller after only one year, I couldn’t be happier with the customer service I received from “etrailer”. They are amazing and will be my RV parts supplier from now on.
I ordered a replacement control box for my Thomas Payne Recliner. Pricing was less than anywhere else. Delivery was lengthy due to the International pandemic shutdowns and port closures. But otherwise, product works great!

I stumbled on this while looking for other items on your site. I had no clue you carried this type of RV parts. I have a Jayco North Point that had a Thomas Payne recliner not working and put this controller in, it works again. Thanks!
