Use this Class lll accessory in either the drop or rise position to fit your specific application.Just as advertised and solves my problem of trailer tongue level to hitch position. Delivered on schedule with no hiccups. Fits perfectly in the 2" factory receiver on my Jeep JKU. The 2" ball in the picture is a reused one not new which is why it has rust on it.
I placed my order at 11:24 am Monday. At 1:07 pm, I was informed that it had shipped. Furthermore, though I requested Standard shipping, George went ahead and sent it Express. I got my ball mount today, three days after I ordered it. Now if that's not the way business should be done, then what is? I'm all about getting the job accomplished, sooner the better, and etrailer.com is my kind of company! I have bookmarked their site, and I won't hesitate to shop with them again. BTW, the ball mount does exactly what I needed done, my boat trailer is nice and level now, not pointed at the sky like before!
Bought this for an etrailer hitch I installed on my 2014 VW Jetta sportwagen to tow a dirt bike trailer. Fits the receiver fine (unlike Uhaul's product) and with it inverted gets it high enough to connect with the trailer at 21" using the Curt 2" ball.
The quality of this part is , top notch.

Well, I had to sell camper so I have an extra ball mount in case I need it.
What a good looking hitch! I like its straight down drop design and it is beefy. I got it really fast. Good service. I'll be using it to haul a camper. It solved the problem of an 8 inch drop nicely.
The brake controller and vehicle specific wiring look good too. The installation looks super simple and it will also be used to haul a camper for its electric brake control. Man you all deliver your product fast.
I pull most of the heavier things with a gooseneck hitch, but it seams to work great for a few thousand pounds. This was an unusual drop that I was looking for, and I'm always able to find what I'm looking for at etrailer.com.
What I ordered, on time, at the best price around.
It appears to be well-made, with a good protective coating.
I need the 8" drop to pull a rather low motorcycle trailer with
my F150 pickup. eTrailer had the widest range of ball mounts - not many vendors have the 8" drop, let alone at eTrailer's price.
Actually have it flipped over to raise the height of the ball because the hitch is low compared to the height of the trailer.

This product was installed on a 2016 Honda Odyssey, with the low ground clearance of a mini van I needed a hitch that would set my trailer to the correct height to make my trailer level while towing. this product corrected that issue for me.
Perfect fit; nice piece. The support gusset is close to (~1/8") but does not touch the bumper cover on my 2015 Sedan Police Interceptor with the Draw-tite Class III receiver hitch. Approximately 18" from ball mount to ground in the rise position.
The mount and ball assembly are perfect for my application. I also found the website help and technical info extremely beneficial in determing exactly what I needed for the application. The info on how to measure the required "drop" for the mount and the correct capacity of the mount and ball were were clear and easy to follow.
I need to drop the hitch on my Toyota Sequoia down to 12 inches for my small utility trailer, and this ball mount worked perfectly. The mount is very well constructed and of high quality.
Worked great to pull my 5"x8" Carry-On cargo trailer from my 2011 Yukon XL. And eTrailer shipped this very quickly, in time for our weekend trip.
FYI -- Mount has 1" hole.

Perfect Ball Mount for my Honda Pilot to transition to my Camper to keep it level while towing. The quality insures that it will last a lifetime. etrailer will always be my go to store for my towing needs.

Just what I wanted worked out exactly like I had planned was very happy with the way it came up had to use an extender and the drop to clear my tailgates this was to install in my 1953 Chevy pickup with a hot rod trailer worked out very well very happy

Rather simple product but appears to be built well. Worked great for raising the height of my ball mount because the Kia Sorento sits to low to utilize a straight shank. The people at etrailer were also great!!!

Thank you for following up. All the products I bought are still working well and I am 100 satisfied. I still use them all except the tirewheel which is no fault of the product, I bought it as a spare for my trailer and knock on wood have never had to use it.
