Ball Mount With 6 Inches of Rise for 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver
Question:
Hi, I have a 2010 Rav4 with a Class III Round Tube Hitch. I measure the height from ground to hitch is 12-1/4 inch. I also have a utility Trailer 4x7, i measure the tongue height where the ball coupler is at 18 inch. So if my math is right i would need 5-3/4 rise Hitch Ball Mount. Do you guys carry an item with that measurement or 5 inch is close enough?

Since your trailer's coupler height is 18 inches, and your hitch height is 12-1/4 inches, you are correct that you would need a ball mount with 5-3/4 inches of rise. That said, you do not need to have the exact amount of rise (or drop) for your ball mount, and being within an inch or so is perfectly fine.
So I recommend a ball mount with a 6 inch rise, the Curt Ball Mount # C45090.
To mount it to your hitch you can use Pin and Clip # PC3 but I recommend locking for protection with the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880.
The only other thing you will need is a hitch ball, which depends on your coupler size, the 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # C40002 or 2" Hitch Ball # C54CR.
