• Identifying 5th Circuit of Trailer Wiring
  Red isn't a standard color for trailer wiring that uses 5 wires so you'd have to track down that circuit to determine what it controls and wire as needed. It's most likely a reverse light circuit for either a lock out solenoid wired to the back of a surge brake actuator or for reverse lights at the rear of the vehicle.
