Video Transcript for Review of Spectro Wire - 12" Length 2 Wire Bonded Wire - SWC97FR

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 12 inch length of 18 gauge two-wire bonded wire. Now, this is a general purpose wire for a variety of common wiring applications used on your RV or trailer. Now, this is a two-wire bonded parallel conductor wire, which is SAE certified. It is color coded and easily separated.

Just want to zoom in and show you, here's your two different colors of red and black wires. It's an 18 gauge wire size. And again, if you want it separated, you can just pull it apart just like that if need be. Now, this part is for a length of 12 inches. Should be that much there.

And it is sold per foot. But that should do it for the review on the 12 inch length of 18 gauge two-wire bonded wire..

  • Wiring Parts Needed to Power 3rd Brake Light on 2020 Toyota Tacoma Topper Shell
We definitely have the wiring parts and connectors to help you out but you will need to do some splicing to accomplish this as there isn't a plug and play type adapter. Here are the parts I recommend: - 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 - Pollak Complete Assembly 2-Pole Connector # PK12200 - Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector Kit # DW05744-5 - 18-Gauge 2-Wire Bonded Parallel Conductor Wire # SWC97FR (sold by the foot) The Logic Modul connects to your turn signals and feeds the...

  • Parts Needed To Add Running Lights To a Hitch Mounted Folding Cargo Carrier
I have a couple options you might consider. First is the easiest and would involve the Auxiliary Lights # C53201. The lights themselves adhere with double sided tape to your cargo carrier and the wiring can easily be run through your center post to keep everything tidy. These lights are going to function as running lights, turn signals and brake lights. If you prefer to only use marker lights you could cut off the 2 male terminals on the connector which activate the turn/brake lights. If...

  • Can 10" Leads on 3-Wire Pigtail for Optronics Trailer Lights Be Longer
All of the 3-prong pigtails like the 3-Wire Pigtail for Optronics Trailer Lights # A45PB come with 10" leads so if you need to extend the wiring length you'll need some 18 gauge wire found as part # SWC97FR (sold by the foot) and then heat shrink butt connectors like the kit # DW05743-10 that comes in a pack of 10. This will give you the ability to extend the leads out as long as you need! Attached are some review videos for you to check out.

  • How Do I Wire LED Flood Lights on My Camper to Use When Backing Up?
Another option than running the LED light to the battery is by running the wiring to the running lights. Although, this can be just as difficult as running it to the battery. The best route is to run the wiring to the reverse lights. However, if you go this route, you must go without a switch option. The only way to use a switch is to go directly to the battery. If you need extra wiring for the application, I recommend using the 18-Gauge 2-Wire Bonded Parallel Conductor Wire - per Foot...

  • Recommended Wiring For 10 LED Side Marker Lights On 23' RV Trailer
I recommend using the 18-Gauge 2-Wire Bonded Wire # SWC97FR for installing 10 of the LED Trailer Side Marker Lights # MCL32ABB on your 23' shell. While the 18 gauge wire is larger than you need for the very low amperage of these lights it is not as delicate as the thinner wire and less likely to become damaged on your RV. The wire is sold per foot allowing you to get what you need.

  • How to Fix Driver's Side Trailer Red Lamps Not Working
If the fuse is blown then that would be the issue. If you meant to say the fuse ISN'T blown, and your wiring and connections look good then you'll need to test the light assemblies directly by applying 12V power to the power wire. If all of the lights work correctly with 12V power being applied directly to them then that means your wiring is messed up somewhere and needs to be replaced. You can use the following parts to replace the wiring from your trailer plug back to the assemblies: ...

  • What Gauge Wire Should I Use For Wiring LED Marker Lights
When installing marker lights we recommend using 18 gauge wire like # SWC97FR. This is stranded wire and is what we typically use when wiring marker lights like the # MCL32ABB for example. LED marker lights pull very low amperage so 18 gauge is likely larger than what you would actually need. 18 gauge is recommended because it will be thicker and more durable than smaller gauge wire.

  • Recommended Wiring and Lights for Utility Trailer
I'm assuming you want to replace everything here so I will start off with a 4-way. I recommend using the Hopkins Endurance 4-Way Flat Trailer Wiring Harness - 30' Long # HM48265. This will give you a lot of wire to work with so you can hook up all of your lights. This uses your typical 18 gauge wire for the lights and 16 gauge for the ground. If you need additional wire you can use the # SWC97FR or # DW02923-1. You could use the Self-Stripping Connector with Waterproof Sealant - 14-18...
