The waterproof construction of these lights make them ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. Each circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.
If a trailer is 80" or wider at its widest point, then it requires rear clearance lights in addition to basic trailer lights. These clearance lights indicate the width of the trailer when it is viewed from the back.
To meet these requirements on a flatbed utility trailer where the bed extends past the wheels, you can install combination trailer lights that include the rear clearance function. For proper mounting, the lights must be installed at the widest points on the rear of the trailer - one on each corner.
A P2-rated or P3-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

Bright lights. Used on EZ loader jetski trailer. Had to drill new mounting holes to fit existing bracket. Comes with steel plated fasteners which I substituted with stainless steel. Have not submersed the lights yet. Say they are submersible. Always a challenge with boat trailers keeping lights working properly. Hoping these LEDs last a long time.
So far so good. I've had miserable experiences with trailer lighting in general so if these make it more than two years without failing I'll call that a win. The Optronics products overall seem to be good quality and at a good price. I've replaced all the side markers with the Optronics and those have been working well too. That said, I keep spares on hand. I also apply dielectric grease to all wire connections and try to reapply that grease once or twice a year.
I was an Idiot last week and broke my drivers side light , so I bought a new pair ,very simple to install and they look good right next to my roller guides
As I have always said etrailer is the only go to for all my trailer parts…….everything I have ordered came on time and was exactly what I ordered
Very nice product, but one of the lenses have small scratches on it, I will try some Plexus to see if I can make look new again. But overall a nice product.
Works great, easy install. Only drawback is the ground wires are slightly short.
Simple to install and 100% better than what came with the trailer. If I knew then what I know now...I would have replaced the lights years ago before I had to deal with a replacement at an inopportune time.

Continues to work like new. Dependable lights that I can count on.
The Optronics LED Combination Trailer Taillights are still working like new after 1 year. They are very bright for extra safety when stopping and pulling a Trailer on the expressway. I highly recommend them.
Decided to change all the lights on my boat trailer to LED. These were easy to install, and work well.

Exact replacement at no charge for our drivers side trailer tail light! Have yet to put it on so we shall see.
Excellent product. Well constructed and bright lights. Wiring and attaching to trailer myself saved a lot of money over dealer estimate with same results. I have had zero problems with performance during the first year.

I originally ordered the wrong item. I immediately ordered the correct item, and incorrect order was taken care of in minutes. It was my error. Sure appreciated the customer service required to cancel the wrong order, instead of having to return it. Totally pleased!!
Right part, shipped really fast. I would highly recommend.
Package delivered promptly. Appeared packaged well. Lights installed easily and operate without issue whatsoever. I decided to purchase this particular brand from this particular retailer because of the lifetime warranty on the LEDs and etrailer's positive reputation.
I am, however, a little disappointed that the lens of one of the lights looked a little scuffed up... as if it had been rubbing against the inside of the plastic packaging. I know things like this don't remain pristine forever, but when you purchase something new you want it to look that way!

I replaced my BRAND NEW trailer lights that leaked with these bad boys, Best purchase EVER! Still working and as bright as when I bought them a little over a year ago. Much brighter then OEM. Customer service is top notch!

This was purchased as a "value" replacement for a 2019 Tracker 190TX Tournament Edition boat trailer...the exact replacement was over $65 per light (STL0066RBG/STL0067RPG). Comments from etrailer and the page for the exact replacement state this is an alternative. TLL160RK is NOT a direct replacement for this application. The original lights have the first mounting bolt 1 5/8" from the inboard edge. The first mounting bolt on this item is 2 5/8" from the inboard edge. Mounting bolts are 2" on-center for both sets of lights. Lights work with some drilling, thus 2 stars docked for inaccurate info. So, be sure to remove your lights first and measure before you order...I didn't. The info for the exact replacements does not include bolt pattern dimensions, so no way to confirm fit without measuring the old lights.
These were replacements lights for my Ranger RB190 Trailer. They are the same lights that were on the trailer already, so they installed easily. Glad I remembered to search etrailer for replacements.
Good tail lights. Everything they were supposed to be.

I have used the trailer lights for a year now and I don’t worry about the lights anymore. They work great.
