Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

This review is not for the item I ordered rather for the service of the company.I have not had a chance to install or use the product I ordered because I just received it this afternoon, 4 days later than the original delivery date when placing the order. A stated delivery date of 2/9/24 was posted on order page. Then an amended delivery came for 2/11/24. Alas it was delivered today, 2/13/24, too late to install it on my customers trailer. I think you can do better with your shipping delivery dates..

All of the items I’ve ordered over the past five years have been as described, always fit as shown and are totally satisfactory in their function and appearance. I design for looks and the variety of lights and videos of how they’ll appear have helped me immensely in the redesign of my classic GT race car’s taillights (and its trailer’s lights too which have arrived and are waiting to be installed).

A year and thousands of miles later, the lights still work flawlessly.

by:

The light bar worked out great! Nice addition to the back of the trailer.

by:

I like the look and the wiring. They used to be cheaper and metal bar behind. Now plastic and more expensive. Doesn't make sense. lights work well however.

by:

I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness.
I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found etrailer. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. Your helpful how to videos were helpful. And Rose, your personal helpful knowledge made my buying experience very pleasant, I actually enjoyed talking to you! Thanks to etrailer and specifically to Rose G.

by:

I changed out all my trailer lights to LED and they work great!

by:

Product worked as intended, plastic housing is pretty cheap

by:

Good product. I just installed it so I can not vouch for longevity. The factory halogen single wire setup on my boat trailer was failing within a year, so I did a complete trailer light overhaul. This light bar is nice and bright, and with it being sealed LEDs SHOULD last quite a while. The plastic does seem a little flimsy, but I bet I won’t have any issues with it unless I somehow smack it into something. Can’t really see the whole light in my photo, but you can see how bright the one light that isn’t hidden by the motor is.

In short, I would recommend this light.

by:

Just received and installed this light today. Replaced 7 year old lights on my utility trailer hoping to not have to mess with light bulbs anymore. The light works as it should, it's nice and bright, arrived in a reasonable time frame, was packaged well, and hopefully will last. I have ordered many items from etrailer and have never had a problem.

by:

the lights are bright! did have to make new holes into the light plate to accommodate the different spacing of the bolt locations.

by:

Just what I ordered .

by:

Easy to install. The wires was long enough to cut for proper length. They are bright and look really nice.

by:

great center lamp assembly

by:

Works great fash shipping.

by:

Just what I wanted

by:

Exact replacement. Very easy installation. Nice and bright.

by:

They mounted very nice and look great on the trailer

by:

Works great. Two new holes for mounting. Added two photos, old lights and new.

by:

Worked perfectly without the need to purchase the entire light

by:

This Optronics LED light bar is BRIGHT! I decided to upgrade all my 20+ year old incandescent boat trailer lights primarily to eliminate the hassle of replacing bulbs and light modules every year or two. I was extremely pleased to find that in addition to the promise of longer life, they are extremely bright and I feel much safer now when pulling my boat trailer day or night. This one is plastic but it seemed sturdy enough when mounting on back of my trailer.

After one year going in and out of the water at boat ramps and the trailer being exposed to the elements when not being towed, these lights are still bright and like brand new.

by:

Ordering was quick and easy!

by:

Nice, I ordered with aluminum ramps and they were under them during shipping but did not break them. Easy to install

by:

Good fit and priced right. Configured exactly like the old light bar.

by:

Amy is awesome, very professional and h elpful

  • Replacement LED Submersible Light Kit, Bar Light and Clearance Lights for a Boat Trailer
For a light bar to go along with the Optronics Light Kit part # TLL56RK you could use the Optronics Light Bar part # MCL93RB, this light bar is LED and submersible. For clearance lights you could go with the part # 47-99-005 for red and part # 47-99-006 for amber.

  • Checking/Fixing Ground Connection on Trailer LED Light Bar
From what you describe, it sounds exactly like a ground problem. You'll want to make sure the ring terminal on the ground wire is making contact with bare metal on the trailer frame. If there's paint or corrosion preventing the ring terminal from making good metal-metal contact, you'll only pick up the ground connections through the threads of the ground screw, which sometimes isn't sufficient. To refresh a ground connection, I like to remove the ground screw, sand down the area around...

The LED Identification Light Bar for Trailers over 80" Wide - Submersible - 9 Diodes - Red Lens # MCL93RB has the wiring and housing for the individual sealed lights # AL91RB to fit. The only way to help them stay in place a little better is to add silicone around the edges to just add an additional seal that will hold up to vibration and water. • Recommended LED Light Bar For The Back of An Enclosed Trailer
The LED light bar strip I recommend is # MCL93RB. Each strip has 3 LED lights on the base. They are sealed, waterproof and corrosion resistant. Contains both lead wire and ground wire for mounting to all surfaces. The LED light bar strip # MCL93RB is a two wire system meaning you will have one wire with a ring terminal for your ground, and a 50-inch power lead wire. You will connect the white wire to your ground and the brown power wire lead to your power supply.

  • Needing Lamp Setup for Ice Fishing Shack on Trailer
I don't offer a kit that would include everything you mention, but I can suggest a kit to use as a starting point plus the additional lamps to complete your setup. I'd begin with the Optronics Aero Pro LED light kit, part # TL16RK. This provides the wiring harness, two LED taillights as well as two clearance/marker lights. To get the trailer set up the way you're wanting, you'd need an additional 4 of the # MCL-91AK lamps and a # MCL93RB 3-lamp identification bar. These lamps are all...
