This boat trailer winch is well built and easy to operate. Securely winching up a 18ft Slyvan aluminum boat with ease.
Anonymous winch? What company that takes pride in their products does not put their name on their product? This winch is supposed to be from JIF marine. It doesn't say that anywhere ...Not on the box, not on the winch,not on the instructions, not anywhere. How do you look for replacement parts in the future if the product is completely anonymous? I don't suspect this was well made or that the materials are top notch. Box was blown open during shipping.
I've ordered from the fine folks at etrailer before. Every time they go the extra mile to make sure everything is right. They care about there customers and take pride in the products they sell. I'll be back again!

Yip its been a year now. Last month my wife and I decided to pull our sailboat off the water for the season - may sound goofy - but I got great satisfaction in hearing the simple click click click of my winch pulling the boat in. It works flawlessly. As harbor master, I see a lot of folks struggle needlessly with junk winches. When in doubt, replace it with something quality. Youll be super glad you did! The winch I bought from etrailer is brilliant.
Actually, I haven't used it. I installed it and it is much better then the other two I have used over the year. I hope to get out yet, but winter is coming
I purchased this winch because it is a really great price. I seriously didn’t expect it to out perform my old one that cost 1 1/2 times what I paid for this. One year later and still like new.
The winch was easy to install, and I’ve had no issues bringing my boat onto the trailer using the winch. It releases easily in both drive directions. Would certainly purchase again.

youve got it posted wrong on your website..this winch doesn't come with a strap..i believe the winch is of good quality,but 20 ft strap is not included

Everything was awesome
The winch is supposed to come with a 20’ strap and when it arrived there was no strap. Disappointing to order something and on get part of what you are promised.

very happy with this you won't be disappointed. retracts easy pulls easy works as it should. The only regret is not buying one sooner.
It works very well and the dual engagement of gears on both sides makes this winch very good for my application.
The winch looks great and heavy duty. Problem is it should have had a strap included and it was not in the carton. I have contacted customer service and they said they are working on sending me a strap. Hopefully soon as have been waiting for winch.

It’s a bit on the light side , only had 2 holes line up on my venture trailer not the worst thing. I should be fine.

One of the best winches Ive used on a boat trailer. Simple, smooth and secure. Long strap for reach, large handle for grip, large teeth on the gears for strength. Cant get much easier unless the boat loaded up itself.
