Taillight works fine, the strap appears to be just what I thought it would be and the winch features act like I thought they would. I have to get bolt taps in the mount base before attaching the winch & strap, and will be happy to let you know how everything works then. etrailer helpline people were top notch! Thanks!

The product was exactly as advertised. No unpleasant surprises. I agree with other reviewers that Fulton could have, sprung for the small bolt and nut necessary to secure the strap to the spool but the quality and craftsmanship were above average for a winch. The ordering process, notifications, and delivery process were all great and the winch actually arrived a day early. The best stand out feature of the website is the product videos that show the product, explain specifications, and give you a real feel for its scale and quality. This was a deciding factor in the purchase.

Just rigged this up today to replace an older Fulton rated at 1800 lbs. The install was really easy and the winch is a beast, handled our 18’ Eastern without flinching. There’s no bolt included for a strap so you’ll want to get one at hardware store, I believe I used 3/8”.

Been durable so far. I am likely a "heavy" user. I wish the winch had a setting for the pawl to actually sit in neutral rather that fall into either ratchet out or ratchet in. I use it on a logging arch. With heavy logs I can quickly switch to low gear which is very convenient. I would buy it again.

I added the dimensions of the # F142401 to the handy diagram you made (which I appreciate you sending), and the width of the mounting base is 5-3/4", the length of the mounting base is 6-7/8", the overall length is 8-1/2", and the overall height is 6-1/4" tall. For a strap to go with the winch you can use part # FWS20HD0200.

Some two speed jacks require removing the handle and installing it on a second shaft but with this winch you just need to slide the shaft to switch gears. You can use your current strap as well.
