Today we're going to take a look at the Fulton Three Inch Wide by 20 Foot Long Heavy Duty Winch Strap with the hook and a 4,000 pound working load limit. Now this strap is designed for use with the Fulton Two Speed Winches. It's made of a color fast UV resistant material. It's a polyester webbing that's UV inhibited and will not shrink, rot, mold, or mildew. Same similar material that's used on seatbelts.Does include this hook with the nice safety latch on it. A few dimensions on this again is going to be three inches wide, 20 foot long, and maximum load breaking strength is 10,000 pounds, and the safe working load limit is 4,000 pounds.
So basically you'll see on this end, it has a loop here that you put onto your winch, and then wrap it around, and crank your winch, and wind your strap up. On the other end is your hook with your safety latch.That should do it for the review on the Fulton Three Inch Wide by 20 Foot Long Heavy Duty Winch Strap with hook, and a 4,000 pound working load limit.

Does the job beautifully for my 27 foot crownline and I always winch it up on the trailer, not power load it with the boats engine. Trailer has bunks, and this strap does the job very well. Quality is great and no signs of wear after a year of use.

- Recommended 3" Boat Trailer Winch Strap for 7,200 Lb BoatThe general recommendation we make for boat trailer winches is a 2:1 ratio, therefore the winch strap will need to be rated for at least half the weight of the boat but this is assuming you have some sort of rollers/bunk boards. The Fulton Heavy-Duty Winch Strap with Hook part # F501204 which has a 4,000 lb working load limit and 10,000 lb break strength rating will be a great option.

The highest capacity Fulton F2 Winch is only rated for 3,200lbs so using a 4,000lb Strap # F501204 is going to be enough. You do need to remember you are not lifting 4,500lbs vertically with the strap. You are sliding the load either across bunk boards or rollers which take significantly less effort than lifting the weight of the boat. It does appear you will only be able to use a 20' strap like the one above. This is due to the housing on the jack.

I'd recommend the Dutton-Lainson # DL206182, which has a 3,700 pound capacity for the strap and a 3,000 pound capacity on the hook.
