This Dutton-Lainson single-speed, standard-duty winch is designed for multipurpose horizontal pulling operations.
The winch has held it's finish. no rust noted after a year. Mine is mounted to an antenna pole to lift the 25' mast. Nice addition to my project.
As usual, etrailer made ordering fast and easy. However, when I received the winch, the 1/2 nut needed to hold the crank in place was not in the box. A trip to Ace hardware and some searching to find the right nut was required. So a little disappointed….. . But will continue to shop entailed when trailer parts are needed.
this box was put in between the two tires & the box was damaged, but all parts were in the box.
Replaced the old wince with a new one. It was easy to install. I can now load and unload my boat with ease and confidence.
Not my first purchase from this outstanding company. Im imppressed by their extensive product line. Nobody had more hand winches to choose from and it was shipped FAST!

Great winch, costs more but worth it! Higher capacity reel.
Purchased to replace the same on my boat trailer that lost some teeth when I had to winch it all the way in on a steep incline fully loaded because of an engine failure. It was easy to install and has worked fine.
Prompt service and checking in to make sure everything is good.
I have used etrailer many times. Never have been disappointed. Keep up the good work! It's rare nowadays.
Opened the box and was really satisfied with the quality. I shopped the big box stores and all they had were cheap made in China products. Thanks for being Made in USA!!! I won't have to tie my boat tie down to the frame of the trailer to get my boat home!!
