Will the 315-W2000D be sufficient to be used with the 2001 205 SSE Chaparral boat?

I looked up the weight of your 2001 205 SSE Chaparral boat and found it to be right at 3,100 lbs dry which means the Single Speed Jif Winch part # 315-W2000D would work well as it has a 2,000 lb capacity and the typical ratio for picking out a winch based on boat weight is 2:1 meaning you only need a winch with half the capacity of the weight of the boat.
