I just received the hitch ball combination today. Everything looks great and it will be a great convenience to just swap out the 2" ball for the 1 7/8" ball. Can't wait for summer to get the two boats in the water.
Haven’t used this yet. I like the idea and the quality seems good but the locking mechanism on the ball isn’t as sturdy as I thought it would be. I don’t see it being an issue with a trailer set on it but it was something I noticed out of the box.
These are most convenient and tough. It is even possible to switch balls using a twist of the finger.
I find, obviously, that when launching the boat water can easily get into the mechanism. So I have kept it well oiled. I should probably use WD ("water displacer") 40 from time to time as well.

Great product. It has held up extremely well, no rust after a heavy years use. Highly recommend for ease of ball size changing
Very impressed with how easy it is to have two size balls and all it takes to change them is a quick push with the finger. Expensive but clever I am worth the price.

Have had limited opportunity to use all the size hitch balls but, ability to change when the need arises and not having to carry many hitch mounts save space and weight.
Fantastic. No longer have to worry about having the right size hitch ball or have multiple hitches with different size hitch balls. Now, one hitch and three available hitch balls. One and done!

Much nicer and easier to change than other interchangeable ball systems. One thing to remember is that the ball is taller than a non changeable ball so think about that if you are getting a drop mount.
Ordered product , shipped promptly , delivered with no problem , product exactly as described , this is how internet shopping should work . I would use etrailer again with no second thoughts .
