Video Transcript for Review of Brophy Hitch Ball - Trailer Hitch Ball - EI2C-C

Today we're going to take a look at the 2" Internal Thread Chrome Hitch Ball with the 3500 pound weight capacity. Now, this hitch ball will provide the connection point for your trailer's coupler. It's a durable chrome-plated finish with a nice sleek, attractive look. Now this one is the internal thread designed hitch ball, so it's different from most hitch balls that have a threaded shank and a nut when you install it. This will include this 2" long, 3/4" diameter threaded bolt and lock washer, and it screws into the bottom of the ball. So when you go to install this, you'll put your ball on top of your ball mount and then run your bolt up through the hole and then attach it that way and torque it down. Again, the ball diameter is 2".

The ball height is 2 3/4". The shank dimensions . You're going to be looking right at 2" long, 3/4" diameter, and again the weight capacity which will be stamped on the top of the ball, is 3500 pounds. But again, just put your washer on, put this onto your ball mount. Run this through the ball mount. Thread it in there, and then torque it to factory specs.

That should do it for the review on the 2" Internal Thread Chrome Hitch Ball with a 3500 pound weight capacity.

I like these internal thread balls for this reason-> I'm a farmer and use balls on my tractors that have drawbars of various sizes. A regular shank ball will get the threads boogered up after just a few uses and I'll never be able to tighten them down again. The internal thread ball I can replace the bolt when the thread does get boogered also I can use a different length bolt for each tractor. I've never had one of these balls go bad on me only the bolt used to attach it. The bolt is easily and cheaply replaced.

Worked perfectly with my log splitter. Used a Reese hitch that fit my Gravely tractor

Outstanding product. Use mine regularly

by:

GREAT Product. Packaging should've been better than just putting it an envelope. Poor Packaging method for this product.

by:

Exactly as described. Faster than fast service. Would highly recommend!

by:

Great product!!
Made a double ball offset
receiver with a measured piece of 3/4" all thread and welding machine. The internal thread makes pre-fitting much easier than lining up two cut-off standard hitches. Would buy again and recommend to anyone.

Very happy

by:

The first hitch ball had the bolt/threads rusted to the point that I could not remove it. I called etrailer and they sent me another one out that afternoon. best customer service around!

by:

I got exactly what I ordered, can't do any better than that.

by:

Was happy to find this item available. A 2" trailer hitch ball with internal threads(3/4-10 female). With the female treads I can leave the Swisher plow undercarriage attached to the ATV and have the ball on at the same time. Before, in order to have a trailering ball on I needed to remove the undercarriage rear mount bolt that utilizses the tow ball hole, remove the A-frame bracket mount pins and drop the whole plow mount undercarriage. Then install the ball in its place. Price was higher than I thought it would be; but it'll save me a lot of hassle all winter long.

I mounted the ball on the inside the bucket on my tractor. I needed a ball that attached with a bolt instead of a threaded shaft on the ball and nut to hold it in place. The shaft would have put the nut on the bottom of the bucket . This would have messed up the threads and the nut so that I couldnt take it off if I needed to. With the bolt attaching the ball the only thing that took wear was the head of the bolt. I use the ball on the inside of the bucket because it is easier for an old man to back my trailers facing the trailer rather than looking over my shoulder.

by:

Using this on my loader bucket on the tractor so I can move my trailers across the lawn and not tear it up like my truck does. The internal threads with a bolt will assure it is easily removable and the threads won't be damaged.

by:

Great product at a great price and fast shipping. The 2 inch ball with the 3/4 bolt was a perfect fit for my atv’s and utv. Would recommend to anyone.

by:

Was having trouble finding a ball with a long enough shank for my stock bumper so I purchased this and separately a longer bolt. Worked great towing a 8x6 trailer over 600 miles

by:

I’m glad to have found e trailer easy to find hard parts that I cant find Nowhere else

by:

should look good when installed.

by:

by:

Fast prompt shipping.

by:

Works great for my application.

by:

by:

Nicely finished, though the threads had some burrs

by:

Great ball. Quality. Wish the base had provision for wrench.

by:

Hard to find these balls with internal thread. I'm glad etrailer had them.
