Changing your hitch ball size is as easy as pushing out the integrated pin.
No need to get out the heavy wrenches. Convert-A-Ball's interchangeable balls are equipped with integrated pins, making it easy to change out your hitch ball for one of another size.
To switch balls, simply push in the integrated pin (using a pen or your finger) to release and remove installed ball. Then just replace with different-size ball, reversing the process.
This Convert-A-Ball interchangeable ball set exceeds THMA V-5 ratings in all categories and meets SAE standard J-684.

The flat-nickel finish resists corrosion way above and beyond the chrome versions I've had in the past. What a joy to ALWAYS HAVE THE right size ball for the trailer I need to pull and you can change it out in about 30 seconds. I needed the 1" XL shank, which fits the 2019 Ford F150 stock bumper hole perfectly, leaving just the right number of threads past the nut and lockwasher.

I could not find any bumper " hitch balls" that would fit correctly my 07 Dodge 1500 Ram P/U. It came with the tow package , over drive, except a ball on the bumper itself. when I searched nobody had anything with a long enough shank to properly fit my factory support tow bumper. I found you guys and my problems are solved. Work s great and I have an assortment of ball sizes to choose from.

The Convert-A-Ball worked well on the Dodge Ram bumper hitch, which required a extra long shank, with this application you can change the ball size with the push of a pin, since the ball is mounted to the bumper and would require the removal of the entire ball if needed a different ball size.

Product was almost what I expected, but the price and shipping were great. I can now see in the picture that it appears the nut and washer are not stainless as everything else is. I was surprised when it was delivered and they weren't stainless. There may be a reason for this but if there is I'm unaware of what it could be.

Keep it under the seat when not in use. When it remains on the truck for extended periods I use a ball cover. I keep it lubricated and hasnt been a problem in any way.

Well made and works great on my truck with a combination pintle hitch and no reciever. Wish it had the flats cut on the top of the shank. My hitch has the added metal so only one wrench is required. Had to take a bandsaw to the "cone" section of the ball to make it fit right. If that was done, would have been 5 stars.

This product is absolutely wonderful. It is difficult to find a 2" hitch ball capable of towing 10,000 pounds. This one is, plus I have the option of going up to the 2 5/16 ball if I need to tow more. This hitch ball has more towing capacity than my truck! I higlley recommend this interchangeable hitch ball set.

Bought this for my 06 dodge ram 1500 that had an extremely long collar on the bumper hitch. it is strong and well made and definitely long enough to go thru the collar on the bumper. I'm very glad a search led me to your site I will come back here every time I need any trailer needs!! I sent an email question to etrailer and they responded within 12 hours and let me know that I had made the right choice for my needs and followed up with tracking # it showed up exactly when it was suppose to. all in all great place to do business.

Good morning Rachael. The Convert-A-Ball is holding up great. I dont use it every day, but on the average of every couple of weeks. I have multiple trailers with the 3 different sized balls, this produce makes it easy and fast to switch from 1 to the other. Thanks.

Installed easily, tightened and torqued without a 'hitch' (tongue in cheek). Thread length after tightening was more than adequate, I needed that extra shaft length, too. I have yet to tow anything, but the ball hitch exchange is very simple and solid. So far, so good...

I had already owned these products my vehicle was rear-ended and the drawbar was busted off and ball disappeared so they had to be replaced after the collision and I've never had a problem with them because they're made great
