Along with the sealed light, a 3-wire pigtail is required to complete the installation.Having used etrailer in the past, I expected items as ordered, properly packaged, and with acceptable prices. The prices are now high and I could have shopped elsewhere, but I recall the staff reps were very helpful. And the canned excuse of "Covid" cannot apply here. The staff (Brittany) was indeed very helpful.
The box of lights arrived (about 20 units purchased). Surprised to find the box full of lights were not individually packaged and just thrown into a heap and covered with brown paper filler. Many of the lenses were scratched (none had the protective cover expected) and my order was to be 100% LED. I got a mixture of LED and incandescent light bulbs.
I was assured by the very helpful Brittany that the lights should be individually packaged and certainly should not include anything other than LEDs. So she shipped me a new order along with a return label for the first order received. The second order arrived early (arrived on a Friday and was told it would be the following Monday....and I'm thankful). Interestingly, the same 'tossed' parts were discovered, and was even worse because the lenses were tossed in separately from the light bases. With the same scratches, and even more individual parts. Contrary to what Brittany said, this is obviously the new way of doing things at etrailer. So I will take the collection of pieces thrown into a box and call it a day. However will not purchase from etrailer again. I will use the local vendor where I know I will pay less and the parts will be as provided by the factory and not heaped together in box with hopes that all electrical components will actually work.
I went the extra step of NOT doing this review because I knew it was just an odd circumstance and, as Brittany stated, my shipment will be used as a training guideline for what NOT to do. So I did not reply to their request for this review. Having opened the collection of parts again jammed into a box, I changed my mind. And thus this review.
Would definitely purchase again! I like utilizing these with my favorite style of trailer lighting.

Worked perfectly for replacement in my magnum rack. Been in it for a year with no issues
It was slightly too small for my trailer. I guess the standard cut out must have changed but it fit perfect inside my old grommet and then the light fit right in. No real problem, just had to improvise.

Purchased LED lights to re-wire a 12-year old trailer. etrailer had all the lights/gaskets needed. Perfect fit to the original OEM lights.
Used these grommets to install lights on my cargo trailer that I pull behind my motorcycle. I wanted lights that would be sealed from leaking and these grommets allowed me to do that. Easy to use and they hold the lights as expected. Will definitely use these again if I need a similar set up.
Great product! My right brake/turn signal stopped working on my trailer, so I purchased a new ST70RB 6-1/2" oval trailer light, along with the wiring plug and this matching grommet, installed them in about 30 min, and it works great! The package arrived quickly and was packed nicely. I found out my fuse was blown on my 2016 Traverse for the right trailer stop/turn signal, but that was most likely from the old light which I think was leaking. I didn't know there was a fuse just for that so I learned something new. I will definitely purchase trailer products again from etrailer.com!
The tail lights when packaged were not protected from rubbing against the box which got scratched during shipment. The trailer wiring from Curt appeared to be good quality, but the mounting bracket that secures the 4 pole flat plug does not hold it secure and it is loose. I will be sending it back.
Grommet fit the LED Trailer light perfectly. However, the snug fit was a little loose inside the frame of my trailer. But, I think it will stay in place.
Wiring is NOT conventional..
None of the harness wires matched up to the flat 4 wiring.
Red was yellow green was brown etc.
And wiring or color ceding was included with the 7 pin harness
Ordered this to fit the glolight led trailer light as this light would not fit in to the one on my trailer securely.

I ordered a 10LED tail light for my trailer with the grommet and received them very quickly. Took them out and put them on my trailer and they work just fine Thanks.
Perfect fit
The grommets worked perfect. They appeared a little small until the light was installed and they filled up the space perfectly.
Did not fit properly in my 2012 Continental cargo car trailer. Was way to loose to install so just reused originals. Did not send back due to not enough money to warrant the hassles of a returning.

On a road trip with motorcycle trailer and trailer light with grommet flew out after hitting pot hole..Replacement light and grommet fit and works great. The grommet could be a bit more snug but will watch on next trip. Thank you so much.

Fit well enough and durable. I wish it fit slightly tighter but I suppose that's the way this standard was designed.
