Today we're gonna be taking a look at the replacement mounting bracket for a trailer valet swivel jack and trailer mover. This is designed to fit trailer valet swivel jack and trailer mover part number STC-V211. This unit allows the trainer valet to swing up parallel to the trailer tongue for easy travel or for out of the way when you're traveling. Also allows the trailer valet to move back into the upright position for when you're ready to use it. You could also add this bracket to another trailer. That way you can move your trailer valet from one trailer to another. Now, this unit is to be installed on trailer tongues that are rectangular and profile.
Round tongues are not compatible because the trailer valet would then rotate, and we don't want that. The mounting bracket on the unit is gonna feature a seven hole design. It's designed to fit a variety of trailer frames. I took a measurement from the top of this hole to the bottom of this hole and got a measurement of six inches, so that's gonna be the maximum trailer frame height that this bracket will work on. The mounting clamp, which is this portion here, you can see that's gonna come with a brand new pin and clip to mount the actual valet unit inside of this round area here.
The mounting clamp has two positions you can mount it at, depending on the height of your trailer. You can put it in the up position, or you can rotate the unit and put it in the down position. Whatever one works best for your application. It's also going to include a new security bolt. Now, this unit is made from a durable steel construction, features a really nice powder coated finishing on it, so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. It's gonna last and look good for a long time. Few measurements that I wanna mention for you real quick.
I did measure at the widest point, so from side to side, and I got a measurement of about seven and a half inches, so that's how much side to side space it's gonna take up along the trailer frame. And then from bottom to top, not including that pin, just here at the mounting location, is about eight inches tall. The trailer valet I purchased continues to throw the chain pretty much doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do (move a small trailer )
After contacting the manufacturer, no real solutions were offered
Pretty disappointed I would not recommend buying this product
I have the trailer Valet that I use to move my 21 foot boat around the driveway and it works well given the weight of the boat. I just bought a small pop up camper that does not come with a wheel on the front (just a jack) so moving this would have required lifting the tongue myself or buying either a wheel or trailer dolly. The Trailer valet lets me move my trailer right to the hitch and I do not need to have the truck positioned exactly. I was glad to see that I could just buy a bracket to allow moving my trailer valet between the two trailers with just the pull of one pin.
Bracket is exactly like the original although a bit pricey, its well made and fits perfectly.
This moves my snowmobile / boat trailer well. I almost always use it with the drill attachment so that it is powered. So much easier on my back and I never need help. It does slip on loose gravel or wet grass so sometimes I shift the load forward to increase traction. It requires a powerful drill/battery to move it in high gear but I already had that and that can be used for so many other things that everyone should have that anyway! My only regret is that is was not available 20 years ago.

After owning for a year now I can add that what I wrote initially is still true today. Glad that I made the purchase and have the ability to move my trailers around on my own w/o hurting my back. I have crouched on the tongue of the trailer to add weight over the wheel for more traction when needed but, even though it works, I cannot recommend doing that as it requires very good balance.
great replacement for my worn out first one. what a great way to move a tandem axle trailer in and out of my garage.
If you own Trailer Valet Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover and have multiple trailers then this bracket is a must! The replacement bracket is exactly the same as the original that came with the mover.
I have not been able to use it. It would not fit on my small Airstream trailer, or my flatbed utility trailer. I put a block of wood in the frame of my utility trailer and could kinda get it to work but I store the trailer on a gravel drive and it would just keep spinning the wheels getting stuck. I really liked the idea and wanted to use it on my Airstream, I thought I would be able to turn it around in the campsite, some of my Airstream friends were excited to see it work. I still may be able to make it work if i rig something up by putting on the hitch and attaching the stabilizing chains. or move my propane and battery box.
The Trailer Valet has been a life saver for assisting in getting my Toy Hauler trailer hooked up to our motorhome. No more backing up and then jumping out multiple times from the motorhome to get it hooked up. Now I just get it close, attach the Trailer Valet and easily move the 5,000# trailer over to the ball and attach. What a sweet piece of equipment! It travels with us on our trips now and is always at the ready. Don't even hesitate to buy one of these if you're in the market. They just work!
I LOVE this thing! I read some reviews prior to purchasing, some were OK and some were great, so I was a little unsure. Now that I have become an owner of a Trailer Valet I can put both my boat and camper trailer anywhere I want, when I want and all by myself. The trailer valet has made my life so much better! Having an additional mounting bracket is great because I can easily remove the valet from my boat trailer and put it on my camper trailer... it is so easy to do! Did I mention that it is very reasonably priced... I wish that I had found this years ago! Who made this thing... I want to write them and personally thank them for what they invented!!! Thanks!
I have the Trailer Valet 5x Swivel Jack & Trailer Mover installed on my runabout and decided to buy an additional bracket so that I could switch it from my runabout to my fishing boat. If you purchase the Trailer Valet 5x Swivel Jack & Trailer Mover you'll ask yourself why I didn't buy one of these years ago. They make moving your trailer around a breeze. Also, it is so much easier than backing up and trying to align your hitch to the trailer with the Trailer Valet. I wouldn't be without one!
Product works very well on a flat surface.
I use it fo maneuvering around a 20ft 1600lb dual axle light utility trailer inside of a garage and it makes it a easy one man job. Not the best on gravel going up hill but will work better than trying to push it. It has its limitations but all in all it does exactly what i need it to do.
This products works great! I use it to move my trailer mounted BBQ smoker with the Trailer Valet.
Works for moving my trailer when only a few feet distance is needed. Saves time and energy by not having to hook up to my truck. Thanks!
I purchased this mount for my other trailer so I didn't have to keep switching the original mount purchased with my trailer Valet.The only thing I did not like with my trailer Valet purchase a few years ago was it DID NOT HAVE SOLID Tires like the later Trailer Valet.I had to put tire sealer in to be able to keep air pressure in them.
The Trailer Valet is a LIFESAVER (back-saver, marriage saver, tow-ables-investments-saver...) and a second "replacement mounting bracket" was a must for me. It's not a replacement, but rather a bracket for my boat trailer so I can easily use the Trailer Valet on that OR my cargo trailer. I have just installed the Trailer Valet and am pleased with the ease of installation. So far I have only had to make some small adjustments to the location of the trailer, and those were very easy to accomplish!
I tell you my trailer valet is worth the money I spent, I'm not as young and stout as I use to be and having the trailer valet is better than asking others to help me move my 2 trailers.
Purchased "Valet & extra mtg. plate". Installed on both covered ATV trl. and boat tlr. with ease. Used the "Valet" to put new boat into garage. Had to sweep snow off paved incline to garage. Because of sub-zero temps and snow, traction was a bit of a problem. "Chains available for the "Valet"? LOL With the wife handling the "Valet" and me giving a push - got it inside with very little problem. The "Valet" makes it so much easier and SAFER to garage the new boat. A five star product!
When this product was delivered, the box was damaged and most of the parts were missing. I contacted etrailer and they immediately sent me out a new one. Not only do they carry high quality products but their customer service is top notch-rare in today’s marketplace! I will happily continue to do business with them in the future.
Purchased as a extra for my boat trailer so I could use without buying whole new trailer valet. Hole was too small for mechanical part to fit in all the way. Will try to sand down inside of bracket to allow for the male fitting to slide in further. Powder coating may have been too thick.
it' for a friend to try out your velet trailer mover with my mover and if he likes it he can buy one for himself ,or borrow mine when he goes camping, I think he's gonna buy one once he try's it. really like mine. thanks

I tried using the etrailer once without success. Turns out it will not work on gravel and putting shoring down is really defeating its purpose. I have had it on Craigs list for some time now !!

Still use it with no issues, handy to move both my camper and boat into positions I cant move when attached to a vehicle.
