If a trailer is 80" or wider at its widest point, then it requires rear clearance lights in addition to basic trailer lights. These clearance lights indicate the width of the trailer when it is viewed from the back.
To meet these requirements on a flatbed utility trailer where the bed extends past the wheels, you can install combination trailer lights that include the rear clearance function. For proper mounting, the lights must be installed at the widest points on the rear of the trailer - one on each corner.
Surface-mount lights install flat against the surface of the trailer, so a hole does not need to be cut into the trailer for the light. This type of light is installed using a flange or bracket that has mounting holes. And mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

The product was great but because the way my ranger boat trailer fiberglass fenders are made I had to mount the lights on opposite sides to fit the molded fenders and painted over the tag light clear spot other than that which has nothing to do with the operation of the lights I am very satisfied with them and if I have a problem I would purchase new ones from you again
Great LED replacement for my old Wesbar tail lights. Incredible how much brighter and functional these are - should have done it a long time ago. Very easy to install - uses existing wiring / plugs, and mounted to existing holes with no modifications. Much better visibility from drivers behind the boat even during the day - feel a lot safer now as well.
They look great had to switch them and mount them upside down. Do you have a round 1in back up lite for this trailer?

We have many round, 1 inch, red LED lights. This Item # MCL121RK9PVG has a supplemental turn signal. Or this item # MCL111RKB has a hard wire installation. They both have 2-Wire pigtails which includes power lead and ground wire.
Very good lights fit better than previous lights I had to return that were a bad fit.
Still had to add brackets to modify fit. Pics are of original basic lights, previous lights that were a bad fit, and new lights.
Products are great. Delivery a bit slow.
It is a great fit.

I have a 2004 Ranger521 and my old trailer lights were shot! They do not make those lights anymore. I searched everywhere and called many trailer companies. With absolutely NO LUCK! I got on some of the Ranger Bass Boat forums and started seeing I wasn’t alone. But did find some of the owners found the substitute replacement. They all said etrailer had the replacements that would and did work perfectly. Some of the owners gave the part numbers that worked. I ordered them and received them in short order. They work better than the old ones and are LED’S they fit perfectly and are so much brighter!!! Thank You etrailer
Lights work very well. They fit well with the exception the light with the license plate lens needed to be mounted upside down and on the right side. I covered the clear lens with black tape. Trailer is a 1999 Ranger boat. In checking other trailers around the same time of manufacture, lights would have mounted correctly.

Works well!!
ordered new LED trailer lights. They arrived on time were exactly what I had ordered
I installed them on my 2002 Triton Boat trailer. They look and work great
The lights fit directly in the pontoon trailer enclosure and wired up easily. They've been submerged six(6) times so far with no problems. The LED lamps were lower cost than the original incandescent lamps and provide better light. I'm expecting many years of service from these lamps as they're less susceptible to damage from the empty trailer shocks. Good product.

Lights continue working fine after two seasons of inout with no problems - they are submerged six 6 times per season.
I bought this particular set of Boat Trailer Lights , because a fishing friend of mine has had them on his trailer for several years and has never had an issue with his trailer lights since I've known him ( over 10 years ). He told me about these lights and I finally checked them out and now I own some. I highly recommend these Sealed , LED Trailer lights .

These lights are great! They are the only way to go when you need to replace your old incandescent lights. These lights are brighter and their is no doubt that you have applied the brake/turn signal. If you need trailer lights, you need these. etrailer shipped fast and the price was right. I like that etrailer put the measurements of the lights on the page, this made it easy to find the type I needed. Good Job!

They work perfectly!
Perfect replacement part for my damaged boat trailer light. This is the left side on an ezloader trailer. Got all the way to Alaska fast and was easy to install. The price was right and I'll be safely towing the boat to the fishing hole again soon!

Just took these lights to the boat launch again to. The Silver Salmon are running and so is my replacement tail light. Great performance. Thanks again trailer!
Withstands saltwater better than any other tail light I've owned before. Most of the other lights linked water and even though they were LED they still failed. So don't think you can just buy an LED tail light and all will be well. I think this product is a good bet if you're dunking your trailer in saltwater.

These tail lights were perfect fit replacements on my 2003 Ranger Trail Trailer. They are awesome and trouble free compared to the original lights that came on it. I highly recommend this product as well as Etrailer.

Thank you for checking in to see how the lights are working. Havent had the boat out this year but they were working awesome at the end of last season. Always glad to give etrailer good reviews because of the fantastic service I receive.
From being easy to order from the web site to quick and cheap delivery the only thing that would make it better was easy installation, and that it was! They look great on the EZ Loader and when the lights are on they are very visible.

These led lights are great no worries about submerging them in water they look good when lit up would highly suggest these to anybody and easy to install great product

Lights are still working great after 1 year in service
Taillight was exactly what I needed. Price had dropped after I ordered and they adjusted accordingly great customer service very helpful. Will definitely use etrailer.com again
Product was as expected and installed easily. One light had small washers which worked but should have been a little bigger. The other light had the larger knurled "bite type" washers that worked great. Satisfied overall.
